Just a quick reminder of our New Year's holiday schedule:

Today 12/30: 8-10 am & 4-6 pm, Boarding drop off and pick up only
Tuesday 12/31: 8-10 am only, Boarding drop off and pick up only
Wednesday 01/01: Closed for drop off and pick up

Thursday 01/02: We resume regular hours, also daycare and grooming resume!

Everyone enjoy the remainder of the holiday season and we look forward to seeing all in the new year!

Everything is healed, he is back to normal. We were very happy everything turned out great.

An update on Karla's dog, BJ.....

He is the perfect patient. He is doing wonderful. There was a quite a bit of bruising around the surgery site that is almost all gone. He is getting a bit stir crazy, he is not used to being confined so much...lol. he still has a cone on but it is just preventative at this point, he has not made any effort to try and lick or scratch at his incision. Tomorrow will be one week post-op, she has been slowly allowing him more time to wander in confined areas to go potty outside with no access to steps or the other dogs yet. One more week and he can have the staples taken out and have even more of his freedom back. He will have the cone on for a while after staple removal just to make sure he doesn't open the incision. But overall she could not ask for a better patient

Thank you again for all the well wishes for the success of procedure. It is a wonderful thing to see him getting back to his sassy self.

Good evening everyone!

First, I would like to say again how much we appreciate all the kind words and thoughts and prayers for Karla's dog, BJ.

As said before, he had surgery. The surgery was to remove bladder stones that lodged in his urethra making it difficult for him to urinate well and completely. The boy is a tough little guy and never showed signs of discomfort or pain. He had surgery to remove these stones Tuesday and came home Wednesday.

The vets and techs at Blue Pearl in Appleton took excellent care and got him thru the procedure wonderfully. He is doing great, he has to wear the cone of shame for a bit and also he is very limited in what he can do for the next two weeks until he has to go back for a check and to have his staples removed. But he is tough and a huge trooper.

Thank you for all the well wishes for Karla's pup. Today ended up being a consultation with the surgeon and surgery will be on Tuesday. We greatly appreciate all of the kind thoughts and words. She has to take him back to Appleton Tuesday morning and pick him up Wednesday afternoon. During those times, Karla will not be available.

Good evening! Just a quick note to let everyone know Karla will be out of town again Thursday, 9/26 and will not be able to answer messages until later in the day. One of her dogs is in need of some surgery and she will be going to Appleton for this.

Update: today's appointment turned out to be a consultation with the Dr who will be doing surgery on Tuesday of next week. Karla will be taking him down on Tuesday am and picking him Wednesday afternoon. So again for portions of those days, she will not be available

Boone is that golden who has to have all the balls in his mouth.... too bad he wasn't even able to get 2....lol. he is such a character, he entertained us all afternoon while we were supposed to be working

Just a small group of boarding dogs out for an afternoon run....Millie, Rupert, Phoenix, Maya, Murphy, Brooks and Maisie all enjoying thier time outside

And the race is on..... it's always interesting to see who is the fastest at coming in from potty outside.....today we had Ryder 1st and Jesse 2nd then Bucky 3rd..... great job Ryder! Your first official daycare day. He has been here for boarding and joined daycare then but today marks a new adventure for him, getting to come for daycare and get to go home tired out from all the action here in the grooming room with us!

Over this past weekend, one of our guest was busy entertaining himself. Remi was very amused with his toys.....what a sweetie❣️😊
