Scout is an energetic 2 year old australian cattle dog, blue heeler, and corgi mix. He is a rescue that we adopted from in August of 2023. Our recent family situation has made our home life incompatible with Scout's needs. Scout is friendly and very good with other dogs and would be best suited in a home with another dog who also likes to play. Scout loves to go on walks and to run in open fields with other dogs. He is very treat motivated and knows how to sit, shake hands, and stay on command. He is cuddly and likes following his humans around the house to see what they are up to. We are so sad to have to give Scout a different home, but we also know that he can make another home very happy and be in an environment more suited for his needs. Urgent need, looking for a foster home or re-home. Beau is a great dog that needs a stable home environment. He was hit by a car as a puppy and because of that he lost his left eye. He is approximately 7 years old and is originally from Florida. He has anxiety that has increased over the last several years as his home has been uprooted and his original owner passed away 2 years ago. The current owner is going to re-hab, then to assisted living and can no longer care for him.

Temperament: Beau is very sweet, gentle, and loving. He is great with kids, and he has been around a kid's ages infant to 4 years old. He is good on the leash and knows basic commands. Good with other dogs. In fact, he might do better in a household that has another dog.

Health: UTD on shots 11/2023 & Bordetella 11/2024. He has anxiety about being alone and being crated. He is very vocal about it. From time to time his a**l glands need to be expressed.

With a stable home environment and consistent training Beau is going to make a great companion for a family or person.
