Urgent need, looking for a foster home or re-home. Beau is a great dog that needs a stable home environment. He was hit by a car as a puppy and because of that he lost his left eye. He is approximately 7 years old and is originally from Florida. He has anxiety that has increased over the last several years as his home has been uprooted and his original owner passed away 2 years ago. The current owner is going to re-hab, then to assisted living and can no longer care for him.

Temperament: Beau is very sweet, gentle, and loving. He is great with kids, and he has been around a kid's ages infant to 4 years old. He is good on the leash and knows basic commands. Good with other dogs. In fact, he might do better in a household that has another dog.

Health: UTD on shots 11/2023 & Bordetella 11/2024. He has anxiety about being alone and being crated. He is very vocal about it. From time to time his a**l glands need to be expressed.

With a stable home environment and consistent training Beau is going to make a great companion for a family or person.
