Due to the snow storm Harwood Veterinary Hospital will be closed and open back up on Monday.

Twelve years wasn’t long enough, but they were a great twelve years. You gave blood to three dogs without even flinching, helping save their lives. You were there for so many life changes: my marriage, the birth of our two kids, two job changes, opening my business, and moving to our new home.

In my heart, you’ll always be that goofy, happy-go-lucky puppy from the Humane Society, who chewed a hole in my kitchen floor and laid in your kennel with Wakko. Heaven gained a good boy. I can picture a welcome party at the Bridge with Makakoa, Cloaca, Simon, Scout, and Sparky. Say “hi” to Brett and Dukie who went before you and greeted you with the others.

RIP Rufus…until we meet again.

Dr Paul’s bunny, Nala, received Harwood’s first RHDV (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus) vaccine. The RHDV vaccine is an off-label vaccine. The vaccine is now available, but do note, an exam will be required prior to administration. Please contact us for more information and/or to schedule an appointment.
