Milwaukee based husband and wife organization dedicated to creating wholesome and sustainable treats for your dog. Kevin and Nikki have been enjoying beer and spoiling their labrador retriever, Tonka, for several years. One day, while brewing, Kevin had activated the malt enzymes in the grains, extracted the fermentable sugars, and was left with several pounds of spent grains. He asked Nikki if she had any thoughts on how to use the leftover product. With some experimentation, and a few nudges from Tonka, Nikki developed a dog treat recipe that Tonka couldn't get enough of! We're now partnered with Milwaukee area breweries to bring the base of our favorite beers to our canine companions, and excited to share this product with you!

Our Story

Leashless Lab is dedicated to creating wholesome and sustainable treats for dogs by partnering with Wisconsin breweries to bring the base of our favorite local beers to our canine companions, and we are excited to share this product with you!

Not only do we celebrate local craft beer and our four-legged friends, but we have made it our mission to make an irresistible treat using ingredients from our community for our community.

We are proud to collaborate with Lakefront Brewery, Black Husky Brewing, Raised Grain Brewing Company, and Third Space Brewing to source the base of our treats - the spent beer grain - using a byproduct from the beers that we love! We also coordinate with a local farm for the eggs used in our product.

We donate 10% of the profits from each bag we sell to the Wisconsin Humane Society. We work to collaborate with various other pet organizations as well, including - Elmbrook Humane Society, Rescue Gang, and R.O.M.P.
