1st official feeding. 3 weeks old. Goats milk and rice cereal...

Update: 4 days old and getting stronger every day. We are now on hourly feeding with full dropper vs 15 minutes and just a few drops. One of the ways to tell if your puppy is dehydrated is by the skin on the back of their neck. If you pull the skin up and it goes automatically back in place they are fine, if it slowly goes back in place they are a little dehydrated but if it stays pinched up then they are in desperate need of help. We have passed the desperate point and we are now at the point where the skin goes back in place after 2 days of feeding through a dropper. She is getting her energy back and is very spunky now so we are on the road to recovery. www.puppiesinms.com

I thought she was not going to make it. Prayers 🙏we are on the road to recovery. Every 2 hours feedings for both of us. She's the runt and became dehydrated from the other puppies hogging the milk. 🐷 She has made such an improvement from yesterday's CPR episode and her not being able to attach to the nipple from being weak. Poor baby had fluid in her lungs so we used the sling method and also feet out and into chest method with head tilted down and we got it.
