I'm only a few months behind 😂. Here are the puppy pictures I never posted to this page.

Harm, (blk tri male) is now Kevin, living in central Indiana with Gary (RTCH Boom x A-CH Morgan 2015 litter). He has his CGC and is in therapy dog training.

Mac, (blk tri female) is now Sydney, living in California with Indy (HOF CH Ryder x CH Bristol 2018 litter). She is training currently in obedience but will probably also do rally and agility.

A little behind on updates, but we are proud of the dogs we have bred and the owners who are making sure they are having fun!

💫 Indy (from the first Ryder x Indy litter) has earned his ASCA GSA-N and JSA-N agility titles. He has also picked up some other legs towards agility titles, and his first RN leg with a score of 193.

💫 Smokey (from our second Ryder x Indy litter) is always out and about, taking different classes and trying new things. Most recently, he passed his NACSW Odor Recognition Test (searched birch, anise, clove). He is now qualified to trial with the organization.

WHAT YOU USE TO CLEAN🧽🪣 YOUR HOME ULTIMATELY ENDS UP INSIDE YOUR PET. CHOOSE WISELY.

Study after study shows that indoor and outdoor home chemicals such as cleaning products🧼, air fresheners🕯, fire retardants📛 treated lumber decks🪵, stain-proofing chemicals🖌, chemicals from cooking fumes🔥, and lawn pesticides 💦are contaminating our pets' bodies.

Science has noted that most of these chemicals are considered potentially mutagenic carcinogens.

Don’t panic though; this post is meant to empower you to make changes that will go a long way to protect you and your pet. The goal is to prevent these exposures from disrupting the essential functioning of the body, impacting DNA🧬, cellular membranes, and protein.

In the most famous study to date by the Environmental Working Group : "Dogs and cats were found to be contaminated with 48 of 70 industrial chemicals tested, including 43 chemicals at levels higher than those typically found in people, according to our study of plastics and food packaging chemicals, heavy metals, fire retardants, and stain-proofing chemicals in pooled samples of blood🩸 and urine from 20 dogs and 37 cats collected at a Virginia veterinary clinic.

Major gaps in our system of public health protections allow most industrial chemicals on the market with no mandatory safety testing. Chemical companies do not have to prove products are safe before they are sold, or understand how much of their chemicals end up in people, let alone pets. There are few standards that limit chemical contamination in pet food, pet toys, and other products for our companion animals. For pets as for people, the result is a body burden of complex mixtures of industrial chemicals never tested for safety. Health problems in pets span high rates of cancer in dogs and skyrocketing incidence of hyperthyroidism in cats. Genetic changes can't explain the increases in certain health problems among pets. Scientists believe that chemical exposures play a role."

In our new book, set for release in just a few weeks, The Forever Dog – “Surprising New Science to Help Your Canine Companion Live Younger, Healthier & Longer” we give you our thirteen-point checklist to follow for cleaning up your dog’s environment, as well as a ton of other strategies to help you raise the happiest, healthiest, long-lived dog possible!

The Forever Dog book is now available for Pre-order, make sure to reserve your copy! foreverdog.com/book/

Eggs have some amazing health benefits for your dog. They are a complete food source. Here are some of the important nutrients in eggs;

🥚 Protein -
Eggs are one of the most complete sources available of amino acids - the all important building blocks of protein. By adding eggs to your dog’s meals, you’re giving the diet a protien boost.

🥚 Vitamins and Minerals -
Eggs are a nutritional powerhouse, with a great range of nutrients, such as..
- Fatty acids
- Vitamin A
- Vitamin B12
- Folate
- Riboflavin
- Iron
- Selenium
- Antioxidants: lutein and zeaxanthin

🥚 Dogs can also eat the shell. The shell provides a great boost of calcium. A whole egg, with shell and membrane included, is a complete food source for your dog. The phosphorus and calcium help contribute towards growth of strong bones and teeth. An egg contains almost all of the amino acids your dog needs to stay healthy.

🥚 If your dog suffers from joint pain, it is worth noting that the membrane lining in the eggshell is rich in:
- Collagen
- Chondroitin
- Hyaluronic acid
- Glucosamine

What's The Best Type of Yogurt🥛 to Feed Your Pet?🐾

Whether your dog has just finished a round of antibiotics💊, or you're looking to help combat diseases like allergies, digestive problems, obesity, diabetes, or liver disease, the consumption of fermented foods with probiotic properties, such as kefir, stands out due to its gut microbiota-modulating capacity and can be useful in the management of diseases like these.

Yogurt and kefir🥛 are both fermented foods, but according to the most recent veterinary science, Kefir, hands down, contains more beneficial bacteria. The study found dogs🐶 that were fed Kefir had a healthier gut within 2 weeks, and concluded Kefir may be used as a probiotic food supplement to improve a dog's quality of life!

Adding 1 tablespoon🥄 per 10 pounds of body weight of plain kefir to your dog's food is a great way to boost gut health, and is just one of our many suggestions in the "Mending the Microbiome🦠" section of our upcoming book called The Forever Dog!

Whether you have a canine companion with digestive issues or you're looking to help bulletproof your dog's gut, we offer up a series of ideas and tips that can really help your dog out! The book can be found here: foreverdog.com

After some considerations, we have decided to postpone our litter plans until 2023. Nothing is wrong, but we feel the time isn't right for us to dedicate the needed amount of time and effort it takes to properly raise a litter. In the meantime, we'll be out at some shows working on some performance titles.

We are planning a 2022 litter! This will be an all black tri litter. Not quite sure on timing yet, but we'll update as soon as we have an idea. Both Grimm and Olivia have amazing temperaments (both live with kids) and should make some wonderful companions or lower key performance prospects. Website will be updated soon and our Puppy Questionnaire and Contract will be posted. In the meantime, feel free to email Jennifer at [email protected] with any questions or inquiries!
