We respond to calls of animals in danger, roaming strays, lost and found animals, abandoned and owner surrendered pets. We partner with The Humphrey's County Humane Society and our local veterinary offices, to offer these unwanted animals a second chance at life. We work together, to help abused, abandoned, homeless, lost and unwanted animals get the medical attention, food, shelter, water, love a

nd attention they so much deserve. Together with the help of our community and volunteers we are dedicated to finding as many homes as possible for these animals. Humphrey's County Humane Society also offers programs to help offset the costs of spaying and neutering your pet for those, who otherwise, may not be able to afford the full cost. Pet overpopulation is a serious problem, please do your part, be a responsible pet owner, spay and neuter, together we can fight pet overpopulation and save lives.

* One per family.
* No phone calls please! You need to come to the shelter during shelter hours and fill out the application so you can take the voucher with you and schedule the procedure right away!

We need more volunteers to help with the continued influx of strays and owner surrenders.

Studies show that just 15 minutes of love and touch can change a dog's life.
This study found that a single session every day of close human interaction of just 15 minutes has a measurable impact on shelter dogs.
