Bruno's back... Available to an experienced Shepherd home. No kids, no small animals. Prefer no dogs, but may be ok with a chill, resident dog.

He is exceptionally smart. He eagerly puts on his basket muzzle to be able to go have fun. He picks up new skills FAST. He could be a ton of fun in the right hands. Young, freshly neutered, current on all vet care.

He's getting a little stir-crazy living in a run at the clinic, so he can't stay here forever. Please share, even if he isn't a good match for you.

**Update: First attempt failed. Resident dog did not approve.** Available again.

Anyone looking for a young adolescent German Shepherd? He is available to an experienced home only.

He does have a handful of not-so-uncommon Shepherd woes... He has very high (and unmanaged) prey drive, so no cats, chickens, small dogs or kids. He also has redirected his frustration to people around him. (If you don't know what I mean, he isn't for you.)

He's a very friendly guy. Likes to play and is very bright. He is brushing up his basic obedience, learning to enjoy a basket muzzle (equals treats and doing stuff), and learning to look to his humans for guidance before making his own poor choices. ;)

Rescues are full. He isn't an easy dog, but he could be an excellent dog. We aren't equipped to house him for too long a stretch, but we did have to give him a chance. ❤️ Please feel free to share, even if he isn't a good match for you.

Happy Independence Day!

Just a reminder, we will be closed July 4th and 5th to allow families to celebrate the holiday.

Dr. K will be out June 26-28.

We will be closed both Thursday and Friday (July 4 & 5) to celebrate the holiday with our families, as well.

If you have a dog in need of medication for fireworks, please contact us as soon as possible to coordinate. Annual exams are legally required prior to prescribing, so don't wait!

We love working with Kitten Nugget Rescue for preventative care! These adorable beans are reserved, but the rescue has several cats and kittens looking for homes. And they are always accepting donations to help keep the babies cared for!

Just took in a cat that was hit by car on Cornhusker across the street from Casey’s here in town. Medium/longhair grey cat. Adult intact male.
Alive and currently receiving medical stabilization but unsure how extensive injuries are at this point until continued assesment through the day.
Searching for owners to notify it is here and for further medical authorizations!

LOST DOG!!!***
We need your help! Sunny is a 6 month old female golden doodle that went missing from 146th and Red Gauntlet. She is not wearing a collar and is not microchipped.
Her mom is worried sick about her!
If anyone has seen her or has any information, please reach out to us so we can try to reunite her with her family.

Adult, neutered male found in a home as they were having their air ducts cleaned! No microchip. Very sweet!
Tucked in with food, water and a bed here at the clinic while we try to locate owners.

We will be available to address urgent cases the morning of the 1st - otherwise our after hours phone will be available for urgent matters/recommendations, medication refill needs and possible telehealth issues - but we will not have access to medical records or be able to schedule appointments. You can also message us here on FB messenger. If it is something that can wait - you can leave a voicemail at the clinic, or send us an email and we will get back you just as soon as we can. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we simply cannot function as a hospital while the repairs we are undergoing are being taken care of. We always want to be able to provide the ultimate care possible for patients in need. We hope that everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend - and we will be looking forward to seeing everyone after the holiday!
