*A Sweet, Loyal Goldendoodle Ready for His Forever Family!
*Remi is a 70-pound, 7-year-old Standard Goldendoodle
*Remi is house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows his basic commands.
*A fenced-in yard or underground fence where he can safely run and play is required..
*He needs to he only pet in the home.
*He’d be most comfortable with middle school–aged children or older.
*Remi has a non-shedding, curly coat that requires grooming every 6–8 weeks.
*Over a year ago, Remi also developed allergies. After many tests and vet visits, they have found an easy way to manage his allergies. He receives an allergy shot every 6 months and he also only eats "Natural Balance: Limited Ingredient Lamb & Brown Rice" dog food that can be found online.
*He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring endless love, laughter, and loyalty to his new family.

Love this update! Moya and Harrison were adopted in November 2021. They were stray semi-feral older kittens we trapped off the streets of Waverly in 2017. Took some time and love but these babies warmed up to their foster mom and 4 years later were adopted into this amazing home. Love that their mom emails updates once a year. Makes our hearts happy to see them happy!

"Just my annual update from Moya and Harrison. They are doing very well. I have lived in this house for 28 years and we have mice for the first time.
Moya. Miss quiet, no more than a squeak meow.
When she has a mouse in her mouth, she makes to loudest meows to tell me. What, when and how she got it. This is so amazing and new. I wish we did not have e mice. But Moya is truly diligent and working on the problem.
Harrison is his own self. Will roll over for a tummy rub at any time he feels like it.
They are wonderful.
They maybe have a few bad habits. But so do I.
It’s a family problem."

Wonderful news! Our senior brothers' Elwood and Jake have been adopted, hooray! They have been in their forever home for a month now and all is well and they are doing great. Their adopters love cats and had adopted from us before. We are thrilled that they saw these sweet boys and decided to give them a forever home. Congrats to Elwood and Jake and their forever family!

Meet Remi – A Sweet, Loyal Goldendoodle Ready for His Forever Family!

Remi is a 7-year-old Standard Goldendoodle weighing about 70 pounds, and he’s as loving, loyal, and goofy as they come! This handsome boy was purchased from a breeder as a puppy and has been well-loved. Life has changed and his current family in Waverly doesn’t have the time to give him the attention he deserves — so they’re helping him find the perfect home where he can truly thrive. They will foster him until he gets adopted.

Remi is house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s a quick learner who absolutely loves to eat — he’ll do just about anything for a treat! Because of his food motivation, he does need to be watched in the kitchen, as he’s been known to sneak a snack or two if given the chance.

This affectionate boy loves snuggling up beside you, joining you for car rides, and playing fetch. He’s energetic and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard or underground fence where he can safely run and play.

Remi can be vocal at times — he’ll bark when guests arrive or if he hears something outside — but he responds well to a bark collar and settles quickly once reassured.

Because Remi hasn’t been socialized with other dogs or cats, he would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all your love and attention. He has never been around a cat and does not do well with other dogs. He’s a big-hearted dog who doesn’t always realize his size, so he’d be most comfortable with middle school–aged children or older.

Remi has a non-shedding, curly coat that requires grooming every 6–8 weeks. He will need a home that can afford these grooming appointments and make sure he gets in before his coat gets matted which is painful for a dog.

Over a year ago, Remi also developed allergies. After many tests and vet visits, they have found an easy way to manage his allergies. He receives an allergy shot every 6 months and he also only eats "Natural Balance: Limited Ingredient Lamb & Bown Rice" dog food that can be found online. Remi will need a home willing to keep up with the simple ways to keep his allergies in check with the allergy shot and the Natural Balance food.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring endless love, laughter, and loyalty to his new family.

❤ Please share! This is BamBam and he is with Waverly Pet Rescue! Please help us find him forever home! Thank you! ❤

BamBam was a stray in Waverly, Iowa. He was being fed by a kind family once they realized he was alone in the world and also declawed. It is almost impossible for a declawed cat to catch their own food if they end up dumped outside. The kind family could not take BamBam into their home but kept an eye on him and supplied with food and water until we could come and get him. We easily put him into a pet carrier, and he went immediately to our vet. He did not have a microchip and did not get claimed. BamBam was already neutered and declawed when he took him. He got a distemper and rabies shot, tested FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and flea preventative applied.

BamBam was lovingly named by the kind people feeding him. He is about 3-1/2 years old and weighs almost 11 pounds. He is the sweetest boy ever. A gentle soul to be sure. He is a bit timid at first but warms up super-fast once he knows you will do him no harm. He loves to be petted and will nuzzle his head onto your hand and your chin if you put his face near you. BamBam is a good eater and looks forward to every meal. He seems very grateful to be fed. He seems to be ok around other cats once you make slow introductions. He has not been around dogs. I am sure he would be good with older children. Young noisy kids might scare him. If you are looking for the sweetest cat ever, look no further. You found him right here with Bambam.
