Good Morning

We are continuing to monitor the weather for this week- as of now we will be open as long as the roads are drivable. If anything changes- we will notify everyone via text message or email 📧 the day of. Unfortunately we will not know the status of the roads until Thursday morning.

Good morning! We hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas. Just a reminder- we will be closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week for New Years. We recommend picking up any needed medications (anxiety or others) before 4:30 pm today.

Someone will be responding to emails during the closure but it may take 24-48 hours for a response- if it is not an emergency and you have a question please email [email protected] or call 469-716-4211 and leave a voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as we reopen January 2nd.

If you have an emergency while we are closed we recommend The Midlothian Emergency Hospital

Our staff will be enjoying their mini vacation and time with family during this Holiday! We hope everyone has a great New Years!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

Starting Tomorrow Monday December 2nd- thru Dec 20th; we will be accepting donations for our Tis The Season of Giving Drive!! We will accept any donations you are willing to give!
You can bring donations to your appointment or drop off any time during normal business hours! See the picture for recommended donations to help the local shelter!

Dr Garner will be dropping the donations off at a local animal shelter on Dec 23rd.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our patients and clients!
We want to remind everyone that ANY table scraps can lead to pancreatitis or severe sickness in pets. It is best to avoid any and all table scraps during the holidays!
A few reminders:
The Office will close early at 4:00 pm today 11/27.
Office is Closed Thursday thru Sunday for the rest of the week for Thanksgiving. We will reopen Monday.

We are sorry to announce that Dr Garner was in a car wreck last week (she is doing well) but unfortunately there was quite a bit of damage to the Mobile Truck.
We will not be accepting Mobile Appointments for the foreseeable future until the Truck is Repaired, we will keep everyone up to date when we restart Mobile appointments.

*Unfortunately we will not be able to participate in the Holiday Christmas Parade either. We were looking forward to seeing all of our clients and decorating our truck and trailer!

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused any of our clients.

Thanksgiving Hours! Please be advised we will be closed the Day of Thanksgiving and the Day after.
We will not be offering Mobile appts the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but we will be accepting In-Clinic appointments. 🦃

We would also like to invite everyone to join us at the Waxahachie Christmas 🎄 🎅 Parade on Dec 3rd!! We can’t wait to celebrate with all our clients!

Starting next week we will be taking Donations for the Christmas 🎄 season for the Lancaster Animal Shelter- more info to come.

Meet Nic
She has worked with Dr Garner for the past six years as a veterinary assistant where she has developed a deep passion for helping both furry patients and their owners. She takes pride in assisting during surgeries, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and providing the highest level of care.
She also focuses on making sure pet parents feel comfortable and reassured when they drop off their animals for procedures, knowing how stressful that can be. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her beautiful family of five, whether it’s going on outdoor adventures or just enjoying cozy evenings at home. Family means the world to her!

We are so grateful to have someone like you on our team!!

Happy Technicians Week!
Meet Claudia!

She is 32 years young and has worked in VetMed going on 5 years! She has always wanted to be a part of saving and loving every animal that crosses her path. She has two kiddos, her son Elliott is 8 years old and an amazing new football player, and her bonus daughter, Piper (5 years old) ♥️ loves chocolate milk and Doritos!
Claudia loves to cook and bake. You can usually over hear her talking about what crazy meal she made her husband try at home or what she plans to bake after work while juggling her kids sports and family time!
You could say, the fun never stops with her! 🤗
She’s an amazing Technician Assisstant and our clinic is lucky to have her!

We will be there with a decorated trunk! Stop by and say hi!!

The City of Waxahachie has teamed up with 99.5 The Wolf and New Country 96.3 to bring you the biggest Trunk-o-Treat event in Texas! We're talking over 100 cars all decked out and loaded with candy, ready to give your little ghouls and goblins a Halloween to remember.

We've got first responders, local businesses, and community groups all coming together to make this a fun, safe event for everyone. Check out more than 100 tricked-out cars handing out candy and treats, say hi to our first responders and get an up-close view of a wide variety of emergency vehicles while our DJ keeps the party going with great music and line dancing!

Dress to impress for our costume contests and come hungry because we'll have a variety of food trucks serving up delicious eats. We've got face painting, inflatables, and a few other surprises up our sleeves! This is the perfect chance to enjoy Halloween with your family, meet people from the community, and just have a great time.

VET TECH WEEK!!
If you have not visited our clinic or met our staff we would like to introduce Kimberlyn Adams, LVT.

She is about to celebrate her 29th birthday and just celebrated her 10th year in VetMed. Animal care has been a lifelong passion of hers. She is a mother of a beautiful 6 year old daughter and in her free time enjoys playing in a billiards league.

Please help us give a shout out to our Amazing Licensed Tech!
