Call us at:469-383-8155 There's No Pet Like Your Pet! We, the happily married team of Mic & Peter, recently moved to Waxahachie after returning to Texas after a few years overseas. Along our married life's journey we have looked after dogs and cats, young and old, plus parrots, finches, canaries, guinea fowl, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, chameleons,

saltwater aquariums, donkeys, and monkeys. And we loved them all! So we decided to start our own pet-sitting, dog-walking and house-sitting business! There are a number of VERY IMPORTANT REASONS you should choose us to look after your furry friends:

We are essentially retired now, working together as a team, we have lots of flexibility to devote the time and attention your loved pets deserve - and will take care of your home and property with care and respect. And it's important to note that there are two of us - so we will have at least double the time available for our clients, compared to other sitters. But actually, it is likely even far more than that, as we have no conflicting work commitments and are willing to work 7 days a week, morning to night. AND, because there are two of us, your pets will get double the attention! This makes a world of difference - while one of us is working on the food, the other one can be playing or brushing. ;-)

You will find us super easy to work with, dependable, and trustworthy. With age comes wisdom and also much less partying...! Also, Peter is fluent in German. We provide the FOLLOWING SERVICES for your furry friends:

House Sitting: We stay in your home to look after any member of your furry family while you are out of town. This reduces your pets anxiety to be able to stay comfortably at home. Drop-in visits: We drop by to feed, provide potty breaks and give some loving to your cats, dogs, birds, small mammals, and/or virtually any other pets. Dog Walking: We take your dog for walks around your neighborhood for 30 mins or 60 mins, at the pace they are comfortable with. Celebrating One Month Petsitting with Randi! 🐶❤️

We've been petsitting Randi, this adorable little doodlebug, for a month now, and we couldn't be prouder! Every day, she practices commands like Sit, Stay, Come, and Drop It. Most of the time, she nails them, but sometimes her playful puppy side takes over. She's just too darn cute, and we let her enjoy being a pup for the afternoon!

While we're not professional trainers, the owners of Randi and I believe that all pets need mental stimulation for their growth and development, and this little girl is like a sponge, she is learning everything she can right now.

Puppies, like Randi, benefit from structure, and these basic commands will set her up for success until she can be trained by a professional.

Last week, we introduced her to a fun mental stimulation game: finding hidden treats in a mini muffin tin covered with balls. Peter and I had the delightful opportunity to drop in and check on Ozark and Trixi today while their mom and dad were busy.
It was such a heartwarming moment when Trixi started gently licking the inside of Ozark’s ears.
The vet always says Ozark has the cleanest ears in town, so there's no worry about ear infections here!

This sweet gesture is Trixi’s way of saying, "I am comfortable with you, my dear friend, and I love and respect you!"

Today was a special day in my friendship with Girl Kitty. Normally, our interactions are brief, and she would often hiss and walk away to go and hide under the bed, leaving my feelings a bit bruised. But this morning was different!

I was greeted with loud meows, and to my surprise, Girl Kitty came up to my hand, rubbing her head against it while vocalizing her pleasure. She devoured all her 'bribing' treats, but then the real magic happened when I introduced her to a pinch of catnip!

Her antics were off the charts! She rolled around, flipped, and rubbed her head all over the place accompanied by a symphony of purrs and delighted meows! I received serious head butts, and she even tried to devour the container of catnip that I held in my hand. After what felt like hours of play, Girl Kitty finally settled in a sunbeam on the carpet, the catnip’s mellowing effect taking hold. She stretched out luxuriously, her eyes half-closed in contentment sending me Kitty Kisses. She was in a relaxed, blissful state.

Catnip targets the "happy" receptors in a cat's brain which can help reduce anxiety and is even recommended by vets for managing separation anxiety when your cat is home alone for extended periods.

I'm thrilled to see this new side of Girl Kitty and now know that catnip is her special treat, a magical herb that can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary adventure. I am looking forward to more bonding moments with her for the rest of this week’s petsit.💖

Tinga often talks to me using her eyes - so how can you communicate with your cat?

A relaxed and trusting kitty often has droopy, sleepy-looking eyelids. Try sending a ‘Kitty Kiss’ to your cat: meet her sleepy gaze with a relaxed gaze of your own, then slowly close your eyes halfway and gradually open them again. You've just said “I love you” in cat. If she blinks back, you've been honored with a “Kitty Kiss” and her deepest affection!
