With permission mom allowed a photo because I couldn’t pass up.
She is adorning her winter fashionista wear for the up coming weather.! Her demeanor is a reflection of her great “ parenting” . She is well socialized and loves attention. I think shopping is her nitch and fashion as well. Quite the poser.

Much like in human medicine, Texas law requires a veterinarian to establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) before they can diagnose or treat a pet. This is done by conducting a physical exam of the pet or, in the case of herd animals or livestock, by making timely visits to the premises where the animals are kept. A veterinarian who treats an animal without first conducting a physical exam is not only in breach of the profession’s standard of professional ethics but they also are in violation of the Texas Veterinary Licensing Act. Additionally, some conditions require a comprehensive in-person assessment to make an accurate diagnosis.
Many reasons clients need to understand why a relationship with our doctors need established with a physical exam and or testing required to set up a baseline blood profile. You may run across these questions when calling to get appointment for your pet first time, or hasn’t been seen for a period of time. Refilling prescriptions for preventatives such as heart worm etc. if any questions call and we can assist you with them.

Closed Christmas Day ( December25th).
We will resume regular business hours ( 7:30 to 6:PM.) Thursday December 26th.

Brookside Animal Hospital please have a safe Howlo ween….. Keep your pets safe, happy and healthy. From Brookside Animal Hospital Staff in Waxahachie, Tx to you. It is practically raining costumed dogs tonight. Said a prissy black cat in the October moon light. What are you saying? What do you mean? I was surprised to hear this on Halloween. Cats are the familiars whom we usually see. Trampling through forest with witches, wee. But tonight, it is dogs, the onlooker said. They are raining down on rooftops, over my head! There is a convict a ghost, a princess too. There are dogs over there, and under me too. One is dressed as a dragon, chasing me now. In the fog I heard her running behind a bow-wow.

Pets can get dehydrated quickly, so be sure to provide them with plenty of fresh, cool water. Add some ice cubes for extra fun! If you and your pet will be outside for more than 5 minutes, bring water and a bowl with you. Animals pant to cool down their body, but if the humidity is too high, animals can't get cool. Provide indoor cooling or shade outdoor with cool water access.

𝙐𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙊𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 We will continue to be closed for business Tuesday, January 16th. We plan to be open for regular hours on Wensday, January 17th due to weather and possible hazardous road conditions. Should an emergency arise call 972-937-1120 for voicemail area ER references. Please stay safe.

We will be closed for business Monday , January 15th due to incremental weather that comes in overnight. We plan to be open Tuesday the 16th if road and weather conditions permit.
