Koda loves to play fetch. She has endless energy. This game of fetch was after a brisk trail walk. Knowing this, I try to mix up our walks when I pet sit to keep her engaged.

Rally is a timid dog. The first time I took care of him, it took him days before he would come out from under the bed. This is the second time I've watched him, and his posture is relaxed. He comes up to me to get a treat after going outside now. I count this as a win!

Parker had so much fun on his sniffy walk today. You can tell by how dirty his feet are! He loves to go off the path and sniff around the woods. Unplanned walks like this that allow a dog to follow its nose are so important mentally. Not all walks need to be about exercise or fast-paced!
