Similar to our Friday Night Under the Lights (cow nights) we are going to host a mini obstacle clinic! This is our first ever mini obstacle clinic; two hours of play on our trail obstacle course in a clinic format. $85 per person. Must prepay to secure your spot. Non-refundable. We are offering Halter Breaking lessons May 20-May 31. Learn how to methodically catch a young horse in a pasture with a herd. Once haltered, learn basic ground manners while leading, standing, grooming, bathing, picking up feet. Lessons are $65 and will likely go longer than an hour. Lessons are open to anyone!
Our official c**t starting program will start in June. We have 3 horses available and are only accepting 3 participants at this time. This is an all hands on deck, learn how to bring a horse along from step one! You’ll learn ground work, saddling, first rides and finishing touches for the first 60-90 days of the horses riding career. You must commit to a minimum of 60 consecutive days. After 60 days you can continue to work with us on continuing their education alongside us if desired. Price includes the use of our c**t, 2 lessons per week and an abundance of learning/educational materials. Will is going to work them in between lessons but will only work with what you have learned up to that point, come audit for more educational opportunities! This Academy is intended for the aspiring equestrian, a current trainer that wants to expand their knowledge or an equestrian enthusiast who wants to try a new Avenue. The horses will be available at a discounted price after completion of the academy to those that work them. Otherwise, we will continue with their training under saddle.
Cost is $950 per month

April 27 - Ranch Roping Clinic | 9am-1pm
We have 3 spaces available for this clinic!
We are here to help you get into the swing of things this Spring! This is an introduction to Ranch Roping. Learn the fundamentals of how to line your cattle and horse up for a winning shot, how to properly handle and swing a rope and more! We will help your horse get comfortable and quiet as you prepare and swing your loop as well as tracking and sorting cattle from a herd. Cost is $200 per rider. Limited spots available to ensure individualized time.

May 11 - Stockmanship 2 | 9am-1pm
Due to the interest, we have decided to do a Stockmanship Clinic instead of the Horsemanship clinic on this date.
This clinic is designed to introduce the rider and their horse to working cattle. All experience levels and riding disciplines are welcome. Learn the basics on how to track, push and separate the herd. Then practice team sorting and penning games.

- We plan to continue our Friday Night Under the Lights Cattle series, weather permitting.
- Our fillies for the C**t Start Academy have arrived. We will be posting details soon for this. This series will start in May. We only have 3 spots available for this so feel free to reach out with any questions now. As sign ups will be first come first serve.
- We plan to attend an Open show series once a month (with the exception of April). They also have Ranch patterns and English equitation. If you’re interested in showing with us please reach out! We do require weekly lessons to be on our show team. Limited lesson horses available for showing.
- We will host themed events with cookouts as well! I am confirming a few vendors to line up and will announce once scheduled.
- Please note if you are interested in training, we typically book several months in advance. Feel free to reach out with any questions now to schedule training in the near future!

Officially welcoming Nya and Afina to the ranch family! Nya has been taking lessons for several months now but recently purchased her first horse, a Friesian x Spotted Draft. We can’t wait to see these two learn and grow together! They had just finished their first groundwork lesson in this video.
