The Cold Saltwater Spa uses cryo-therapy, aeration, and saltwater therapy to increase healing and recovery. The cold water serves as a topical analgesic and reduces swelling in areas of concern and increases circulation.

Time in the spa is also an effective aid for recovery post training, minimizing recovery time. The Cold Saltwater Spa is beneficial for any lower limb orthopedic injury.

Currently the only publicly available Sea Salt & Ionized Oxygen Room in the US, this unique capability offers profound healing opportunities.

The enclosed stall atmosphere is saturated with dead sea mineral salts and negatively ionized oxygen, which are both inhaled and absorbed through the skin. This feature is extremely beneficial for COPD, chronic lung problems, heaves, allergies, acute respiratory disease and skin issues.

PJ sure knows how to enjoy the Water Treadmill at Alvie! Every horse is different when it comes to therapy programs. Some of our patients are timid and can take a few sessions to help them relax and understand how the treadmill works. While other horses hop right in and immediately enjoy it. PJ took a session or two to relax into things, but clearly has learned to love it! Our staff takes the time and effort to make sure every horse is cool, calm, and collected as they get used to the treadmill.
