My Story

HI, I'M DEANNA CORBY!

I am the co-founder of Level Up Equestrian, a support system to help other equestrians succeed. I am a dressage trainer, instructor, USDF “L” graduate, bronze medalist and YouTuber. I offer lessons and training to riders and horses of all ages and levels at my resident farm in Waxhaw, NC.

I’ve known that I wanted to be a professional equestrian since my first riding lesson at 7 years old, but I haven’t always known how to get there. There are no other horse lovers in my family, so I had to remain determined to create my equine business by myself, for myself. I’ve spent the past decade on what felt like a roller coaster, experiencing the highs and the lows that come along with entrepreneurship. From self-doubt to big victories, broke to more business than I can handle, I am eager to share and support other equine professionals in today’s world.

My personal inspiration for co-creating Level Up Equestrian were two of my closest friends, both extremely talented horse trainers. Over the years, I have seen them struggle with obtaining new clients and marketing their craft, despite their highly sought-after abilities. There are so many more accomplished equestrians in this same situation that lack the self- confidence or experience with modern advertising to grow. We want to help change all of that.
