The mission of Mouton Blanc is to provide families with high quality, life long companions, whether it is a cow, a pig, a chicken, or a beautiful Golden Retriever. We strive to provide the highest quality and problem free pets. While no animal is guaranteed to be problem free, we attempt through our breeding program to mitigate any future problems.
Realizing that many people are interested in urban homesteading and are not necessarily full time farmers, Mouton Blanc Farms breeds their animals for breed characteristics that will make the animals easier to care for.
Many people have dreamt of having a small farm or a few acres, of having a pet cow or sheep, making cheese or of just being able to sustain themselves. At Mouton Blanc Farms, we feel the same and endeavor to provide high quality, healthy animals that are bred to be easy care and minimize your time commitment.
On our farm, our Golden's are treated as family members. They do not live out alone in a kennel as they do with many breeders but instead live in our home with us. We know our dogs as individuals, their likes, their dislikes and their personality quirks. This helps us develop breed lines that we can individualize for the needs of each family that may purchase a puppy from us.
All of our puppies are born and raised inside our home and are held and loved from the moment they are born. As little puppies when they are just weeks old they are exposed to our children and grandchildren and other animals on the farm. This helps to socialize them before they go to their permanent homes.
Mouton Blanc, unlike many farms, knows each animal as an individual not as a member of a herd or a flock. We spend time with the animals helping to socialize them to better respond to people. This attention to individual animals also lets us spot potential problems before they become serious.
Mouton Blanc also is unique in that we offer support after you purchase your animal. Many of our customers have never owned a cow, sheep or Golden Retriever before and don't know how to properly care for them. At Mouton Blanc, we want you to be successful; therefore, we provide telephone support and advice as you need it.
