Good afternoon we wanted to let everyone know that we will be closed tomorrow January 9th due to the bad weather coming in. We reached out to everyone today but if we missed you we are very sorry, we just want everyone to be safe and not be out in the weather as well as me and my staff at The Pampered Pooch. We are so very sorry if you got upset for the inconvenience. I guess a lot of people don’t realize several factors that may cause us to make the decision to be closed. First and most important is us and everyone else’s safety, it is also very important to think about your furbabys comfort during this time we have some that are terrified of bad weather and then to be away from mom and dad makes it worse. Also the factor of what if the power goes out and you can’t get there to get them in a timely matter think of how scared they would be. Also if we don’t have power we can’t work. The fact of only 2 or 3 people would come out in it and technically that doesn’t even pay for the doors to open and pay employees. Please know that we always do what’s best for our client as well as us and our family to. We are very thankful and appreciate you guys more than you know. Everyone be safe thru the storm. We will reopen on Wednesday🐾

Good morning we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas as well as a safe and happy new year that consisted of much needed time spent with your family/loved ones as well as those furbabys🐾❤️ We will be closed January 1st and 2nd we will resume normal business hours on Jan 3rd. Just a reminder as the new year has started I will repost a couple things as well as the price increase that starts today. If there is a problem or you have an issue with the price update please fill free to reach out. Hey, everyone! This post is to help make everyone aware of some new changes that will be implemented starting the first of the year! As you may know the business has come a long way over the past few years and as things continue to change, we continue to look for new ways to make our business more efficient in order to provide each and every one of our clients with the best grooming experience possible.
Starting on January 1st, we will be requiring all of our appointments to be rotation based. As we continued to be booked out for months at a time, we can longer accommodate free standing appointments. It is our hope that we can get everyone on a 4 or 6 week rotation (with exceptions to those agreed upon by owner). We also accommodate weekly ,biweekly and 3 week rotation as well. Starting in December, we will be booking rotations for the entire year to ensure our clients will always have an appointment when needed. We will also be enforcing $25 no call-no show fees to help make up for the loss in revenue when appointment slots are left unfilled. When we know in advance that you can’t show, we usually have time to reach out and fill that spot! With this being said if you no show no call for your appointment you will have 3 days to reach out to us concerning that missed appointment and to take care of that $25 fee, and absolutely we understand there are things that come up that are out of our control and in cases like that it will be waived. If we do not hear from you, the rest of your appointments for 2024 will be canceled until we hear from you.
To address our current problems with cage space and pick up times, beginning January 1st, we are asking that everyone pick up within an hour of being called, unless a specific pick-up time is discussed and agreed upon prior to booking your appointment. We usually ask that our morning drop offs are picked up by lunch so that we have enough space for our afternoon drop offs. We understand needing to work around work and school schedules so we can absolutely accommodate later pick up times as long as you can give us a heads up in advance!
Prices of supplies and products have gone up tremendously this past year so to help off set this we will be making changes to our pricing structure in January. Not all prices are increasing, we are mostly needing to differentiate prices based off the amount of work put into each groom.

Long Hair Tidy up (Includes bath/nails and trim to the face, feet and potty areas. Body cut not included)

I will be attaching a form for everyone to print off and bring to your next appointment or fill it out and send it private message through facebook also please add on the bottom of the form what rotation you would like to be on and if there is a certain day of the week that works better to accommodate your schedule and we will definitely do our best to accommodate your schedule as well. We are very thankful for each and everyone of you because you guys are what has made The Pampered Pooch what it is today and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you. I would like to start by saying a very big thank you to all of my amazing clients, you guys are the best. Thanks for helping build and make TPP what it is today. I would like to address a couple of things and remind you guys a little about the business. We are a very small staffed family owned and run business with that being said when one of us are sick or something happens in the family it affects the whole staff. Also when the groomer is out the staff is very limited on things they can do without me being there. We are in the process of having another groomer almost fully trained to be able to accommodate you guys when things come up and I can’t be there. It seems as if the past 3 weeks have been a roller coaster for us at TPP due to sickness, passing the virus around thru the whole staff, and family being sick on top of all the rest. So please when we say we are doing all we can do I promise we are doing exactly that, trust me I hate to have to call and cancel your appointment because my goal is to please each and everyone and make sure you guys are happy. We will continue to do our best to make sure each and every one is happy but please when things come up just remember we have family just like each one of you guys are to us. We love and appreciate you guys❤️❤️

Matted fur greatly increases the amount of time and work needed and damages our combs, scissors and clipper blades. Hey, everyone! I just wanted to give a quick thanks to those who have remained patient with us and respectful of our time and business! Unfortunately, we have recently had an increase in no shows and late pickups, causing our staff to be here much later than we should. If you can't make the appointment for any reason, please do not hesitate to reach out. I promise we won't bite! Our biggest issue with late pickups is that we are constantly running out of cage space, so we need our finished morning dogs picked up by the time our afternoon dogs are dropped off. If something comes up and you can't pick up within an hour and a half of us calling for pickup, or if you know you need a late pickup time for any reason, please give us notice so that we can plan accordingly! We do not mind working around school and work schedules! We really do not want to enforce no show fees or daycare/boarding fees but this would be the only way to help replace lost revenue from no shows and to help pay wages to staff who have to stay late waiting for pickup. To help combat these longer workdays and to ensure our staff has enough time with family, starting in May, we will be closed every other Friday (starting 5/5 and 5/19 and every other Friday after). We will also be closed on April 27th and 28th. If you have an appointment on either of those days, please reach out if you haven't already heard from us! We are currently booked until the first week of May. We can longer accept new clients with large dogs and will only be able to accept new clients with small dogs who are willing to be on a rotation as we are reaching the max amount of clients we can serve each week. Please consider getting on a rotation if you aren't already! This is the best way to ensure you always have an appointment without having to wait so long for our next opening.

Again, thank you all so much for supporting our small business and for giving us the chance to do what we love which is making you and your little furbabies happy!! I hate writing posts like this because we never want to come off as ungrateful or disrespectful, but this is only way to reach as many of our clients as possible! Hey, everyone! Our front desk worker who answers the phones and replies back to FB messages has been out sick. There are several voicemails that we still need to reply to and I'm going to try to reach out to those people today. We will also be down another staff member for the foreseeable future so we will be scheduling less appointments each day to accommodate. This means we are currently booking for Feb 3rd! Hey, everyone! As some of you know we increased our prices a year ago to $50 for small, $65 for medium and $80 for large dogs. However, we did not increase prices on those of you that were already with us. Due to increase cost of supplies and to accommodate the increase in our staff, starting February 1st we will be applying our current prices to all of our clients. These prices are for full grooms which includes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, a**l gland expression and a haircut. These prices are based on size and not how much work or time goes into the groom which is why your total may be more or less. We will also be strictly enforcing no call, no show fees. All we ask is a notice the day before your appointment if you wont be able to make it, no hard feelings we understand. Starting this year we will also be increasing the price on full size labradoodles, goldendoodles and any other large poodle mixes as we find these dogs take the most time and work to wash, dry and comb. I hope everyone understands, feel free to call or shoot us a FB message if you have any questions or concerns!

Hey everyone! We will be closed tomorrow and Friday (12/30-12/31). Two of our employees are out with the Flu and a stomach bug (NOT COVID) so we are too short staffed to operate. I'm fairly sure I've gotten everyone rescheduled but if you had an appointment this week and haven't heard from us, gives us a call! I just took a look at the schedule for January and just wanted to let everyone know that we are pretty full for the entire month. We have a few small dog appointments left here and there but we are currently booking bigger dogs for the first or second week in February! Thanks for everyone's understanding and Happy New Year!!!
