We celebrated Veterinary Technician week (we consider it general Staff Appreciation week) with lots of goodies for our employees. Some of the doctors bought coffee and donuts while Dr. Boardman made waffles for everyone. We couldn’t do what we do and help pets without these dedicated employees!

Rocco recently came to our clinic for a visit and weighed in at over 15lbs. At only 8 months old, he’s probably the largest “kitten” on our current patient roster. Lucky for us, he’s a gentle boy who was perfectly content in the arms of our technician.

Looks like snow in the forecast! For the safety of our clients and staff, Wayland Animal Clinic will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13th. We plan to reopen at 8am the following morning. This December marks Dr. Lynn's 30th year anniversary of working at Wayland Animal Clinic. Not only has she cared for dogs and cats over her career but she's treated rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, chickens, and bearded dragons just to name a few. Lisa Alcione, a client who has been bringing her dogs to Dr. Lynn for over 20 years, said "I love her. She's just great with my guys. When you're with her, you're the only client and your animal is the only animal. She just wants to help. I trust her completely."

When asked what has kept Dr. Lynn in veterinary medicine for the past 30 years, she responded that it is still "extremely rewarding. I never stop learning. I love the animals I see and I love learning about my clients."

Dr. Lynn also has a soft spot for Australian shepherds. Pictured below is Dr. Lynn and Ivy, the newest addition to the family.

Wayland Animal Clinic and our clinic cat, Paul, wants to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! We will be closed Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, the 24th, and will reopen Saturday at 8:00am. Please try to keep your pets away from table scraps and leftovers. These foods can lead to tummy upsets and unplanned visits to the vet. Enjoy the holiday!

Our patient, Nutmeg, officially turned 20 years old today! We started caring for Nutmeg over 19 years ago and have had the pleasure of being her veterinarian from puppyhood to her golden years. We are fortunate to have such wonderful clients who go above and beyond for their pets. In honor of her birthday, Nutmeg’s owner brought us homemade baked goods as a thank you. Happy birthday Nutmeg! 🥳

Wayland Animal Clinic is having its first ever Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Our staff has created these amazing works of art from pumpkins and they are currently on display in our waiting room.
