Guardian Angels will once again have a tent set up on the Rail Trail for New Year's Eve. We will be located in front of the AmVets building. Stop by and visit by the fire pit and have a warm drink as we say good bye to 2024.

We will be at Pet Supplies Plus tomorrow, Saturday, 12/7 from 11 to 2. It you are interested in adopting come down and talk to us. While we won’t have cats there, we can take you to visit them in their foster homes near by. Pet Supplies Plus is located at 219 N Main St in Natick.

On Giving Tuesday, we wanted to share a story about one of our special rescue cats.

Panda is just one of the many resilient cats and kittens that have come through our rescue group, each one requiring more than just a safe haven. He received ample food and love while we sought to find him a permanent and caring home. However, his journey was far from easy. Panda suffered immensely, causing him to utterly shut down. He spent most of his days hiding, only emerging when coaxed for his medication and meals.
Panda underwent two major surgeries to improve his quality of life: one to remove a painful mass from his ear and another to correct his entropion eyelid, a condition causing his eyelid to fold inward and rub against his eye with every blink. To add to his challenges, he had to have most of his teeth extracted due to severe dental issues. All told, his medical costs exceeded $5,000—a significant expense for any organization. This amount did not even cover the additional expenses incurred from his foster care, including routine vet visits and ongoing vaccinations over the year he spent with us.
This summer, however, brought a wonderful turning point for Panda. After such a lengthy and arduous journey, he finally found his forever home. Today, Panda revels in the joy of sitting on his human’s lap, soaking up all the love and pets he so rightfully deserves.
Regrettably, Panda's situation is not unique; we have encountered many instances requiring expensive procedures to give other vulnerable kitties a chance at lasting happiness in loving families. As a volunteer organization, we rely on the generous hearts and homes of our dedicated caretakers, who tirelessly provide nurturing environments for these cats.

While the challenges we face can be overwhelming, we find joy in the moments spent playing with kittens. These experiences help to rejuvenate our spirits and remind us of the rewarding outcomes of our hard work. But there are so many more cats and kittens that need our help, so on this Giving Tuesday, we are asking you to open your hearts to these kitties and donate what you can so we can continue this work.

It’s Small Business shopping day and we are in the purrfect place for you to see and adopt kittens and do some shopping. Ace Hardware has great gifts and home goods. Plus there are other small businesses in the shopping center. We will be at Ace at 70 Andrew’s Ave in Wayland today from 11 to 2.

While the whole family is in town for the holidays, it’s a good time to add kittens to your family! We will be having an adoption event on Saturday, November 30th at Ace Hardware at 70 Andrew Ave in Wayland from 11 to 2. Kittens are adopted in pairs and we got some really cute ones!

Who says cats don’t fetch! Diamond, just over 1 year old loves to play fetch with her springs. She is a playful and sweet girl who will climb into your arms and kiss your face! She needs to go to an experienced cat person because when she gets very playful, she will use her paws to grab you and she is known to nip you. As she gets use to her environment and people, that behavior does lessen significantly.

I wanted to share this post. It is very informative on bringing a new cat into your home. Cats have to adjust to their new surroundings and their humans need to understand and have patience.

It is still kitten season! Now everyone is settled into the new school year, it’s the purrfect time to add a pair of adorable kittens to your family 😸.

We have sets of kittens available for adoption. We will be at Pet Supply Plus in Natick at 219 N Main St on Saturday, 9/7 from 11 to 2. We will be showing the kittens at their foster homes. Kittypants is missing in Wayland on Dudley Pond. She lives at 6 Crest Rd and hasn’t been seen since the end of July. She is a shy cat and might be hiding. If you live in that area, please check around your house - under your deck, inside your sheds and in your bushes around your house. If you see her please call her family at 508-934-9329.

Reminder that tomorrow - Saturday, August17th from 1 to 4 we will be having our Clear The Shelter Adoption event at Pet Supplies Plus in Natick at 219 N. Main St. These are 4 of the 6 great cats we have had in our shelter for over a year and would love to find them a forever home. They are wonderful cats and deserve to have a love of a family. Nate and Jimmy Buffet have a write up on their photos. We will not have cats at the event, but we can take you to their foster homes to visit them. To help find these special cats a home, we have made our adoption fee for them $99. These cats have all their shots, have been spayed and neutered and are chipped. We do have a number of kittens and other cats that are available for adoption at our regular fee of $200.

Let me tell you about Wista and Pretty Girl in their own words - We are BFFLs (best friends for life)! We are quite the fun-loving felines. We love to chase each other around the house, wrestle, and cause all sorts of mischief. We are very independent cats; we mostly like to do our own thing throughout the day and won’t like it if you try to smother us. Still, once you earn our trust, we like to be pet and play with you (our favorite toys are the mouse on a stick and our catnip banana). Though we won’t sit in your lap, we will most certainly nap near wherever you’re sitting or sleeping! We are very vocal and would love to tell you about our day with our mews and chirps. We get scared easily, so would do best in a quiet home without young kids. Although we are hesitant to trust new humans, the love we have to give is sooooo worth it once you win us over (and some treats never hurt)! Can you make room in your home and your heart for us?

A little bit more about them...

Wista has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a benign condition that causes her head to shake when she gets excited or scared – but she never lets that get in the way of her having a good time! Fun fact: Pretty Girl loves to binge TV shows just as much as you do, and will be endlessly entertained if you have an iPad to share with her!

It is Clear The Shelter weekend! We are having an Adoption Event on Saturday, August 17th from 1 to 4pm at Pet Supplies Plus at 219 N Main St in Natick. Some of the cats we have rescued unfortunately are not adopted for a number of reasons - mostly they are passed over because we have too many kittens and everyone loves kittens! Some of these cats have been with us for over a year, and their foster families love them, but we need to make room for the never ending cats that need rescuing. We want these cats to find their forever home and to help that, we are discounting our adoption fee to $99. Nigel and Andrew are two of those cat, along with 4 others. The foster homes are bulging with great cats and kittens and we are looking for homes for those kitties too. We have a number of kitten pairs and young cats.

We will not be able to bring any of the cats and kittens to Pet Supplies Plus, but will be able to take you to their foster homes for a visit - all within a few miles of the store.

We are doing this event with a dog rescue group, so come down and visit and see all the available kitties that are ready to go home. If you want to be pre-approved, email us at [email protected] for an application.

We have 2 sweet, playful and friendly 3 month old kittens that are ready to find their forever home. These kittens are great with young children. Always looking for pets and someone to play with them. Groot came to us with a broken leg that has now completely healed and they brought Ivan, a Russian Blue colored kitten because they were best buds! This year old kitty got out of her house in Harvard MA last month and hasn’t come home. To all our Guardian Angel friends in the Harvard area, please keep an eye out for her.
