I like keeping my husband on his toes, so here’s a glimpse of a phone call conversation last week 🤷🏻‍♀️

Me: Hey… So… Umm… I won a cow

Him: You’re kidding me right?

Me: Nope it’s true, and I leave for transport so I need you to transport for me !?

Him: Okay where is it and I’ll go get it…

He’s such a good sport 🤣 I was so excited to see her this morning for the 1st time. Now I just need to think of a name 🤔

Some of you have met my copilot, but this girl right here is my true ride or die. If I could have 5 of her I would! Dogs you get in your 20s are once-in-a-lifetime dogs. They've seen you at your worst but also experience the best era of life with you! It’s hard to believe at 9 yrs old she’s just now slowing down but she’s the best girl. For anyone that has a Australian Cattle Dog knows how amazing they are ❤️

As much as I hate to type this but if 2025 isn’t any better, I will no longer be transporting. In the last 2.5 yrs I have not once quoted a person what I actually need in order to pay my bills. I know it’s my own fault but I’m a people pleaser and have a hard time saying no. I love all my regular clients and all the animals I get to cuddle and love. My last route I drove 4,000 miles and brought home only $700 unfortunately I can’t continue to do that plus all the wear and tear on my vehicle. I’m a semi private transport which means I don’t transport a bunch of animals at one time, I try my best to have all animals on and off as quick as possible. All spaces are a first come, first serve. I don’t think a lot of people understand gas prices vary in every state and tolls add up very quickly. I have people reach out everyday wanting me to drive 600 miles for $100, that’s not fair to anyone. So I pray 2025 will be a great year for I can continue to do what I love.
