New year means some changes!

First, thank you everyone for a wonderful 2022! We welcomed into our family our beautiful baby girl, Vivian, and more recently our sweet poodle boy, Sammy! We’ve been so thankful that you all have been showering us with blessings, both in word and gifts. I cannot express how wonderful and reassuring it has been for our family to take on the adventure of pet grooming the last couple of years.

Second, as many of you know, I have been dragging my feet changing prices. Well, it has happened. As of the new year, there are new costs of services.

Third, after much discussion, I am no longer taking on new grooming clients so I can maintain a healthier life/work balance. That being said, any current or past regular clients that get new puppies, I would be honored to groom your newest family member!

Fourth, I’ve been looking at slowly adding new products. If you have any suggestions (types of toys, shampoos, pet wear), please let me know. 😃

Please let me know if you have any questions and concerns, my top priority (after my family) is making sure your furry loved ones are well cared for.

Because I know a lot of you are wondering, baby Vivian Matson is two months old and growing so fast! She is handling me transitioning back to grooming really well!

I did start grooming again! I’ve been working on phone calls and trying to get everyone back on the schedule. It is a slow start until we know baby and I can handle full days well, so bear with me as I get caught up!

Also, I am unable to take new clients at this time. My priority are those of you who have been with me for regular grooms. Once everyone has been called, I will evaluate my ability to take on more.

Thank you for your patience, prayers, and presents! Our little family has felt very blessed! ❤️

Baby Matson coming in July 2022! ❤️

My husband and I couldn’t be happier!

What this means for the shop:

I am currently unable to take new customers, likely until the new year.

All current customers should try to get “final” grooms in before the end of June (larger dogs are requested sooner than that). There are a couple of appointments left in the beginning of July; however, if baby comes early, I won’t be there. So please call first if you have one of those appointments.

I have all intentions of returning to grooming by mid September (so approximately 8 weeks of closed doors). This is subject to change based on when baby makes her appearance and how everything goes afterwards (first baby, no idea what to expect).

Thank you for all the encouragement and support I (we) have received! This has been an amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a person, and now as a family.
