We had a great time at Orlando at the AKC Agility Invitational! The two-legged team member (me) made an error on another run which kept us out of the finals. Here is Penny's standard run, a very nice one. 4th out of 125 dogs.

Here's Bowie, a really cool 6 year old Dobe, at his first agility lesson. Neither him or his "team mate" Melody have done agility before, but he caught right on. His focus is about the best I've ever seen in a first lesson.

Update on my injury recovery status: As some of you know, I have had to cut way back on the boarding and training I do, due to injuries to my hip and back. Recovery is slow, but am really hoping to avoid surgeries. My apologies to my prospective agility students but I continue to only be able to do a few hours of training one day a week. Boarding is limited to current clients, or to direct referrals from my other clients. Boarding with training is limited to current clients. In home training is also limited to current clients or direct referrals, and only offered one day a week. I apologize to those of you who have been waiting for a slot to open up but the doctors and my physical therapist are looking at months not weeks to recover. So, please contact me and I can give you some other trainers to contact. And, to all my students and clients, thanks so much for you support and good wishes! We are hanging in there, and doing better than we were!
