My name is Sydney, I’m the owner of Mutt Cuts LLC.
I am a 23 year old Dog-Mom to a Golden Retriever named Max, and he’s my bestest friend! 😉

Before I decided to start my journey as a Dog Groomer I spent years in the Veterinary Medicine world. When I was about 13 years old, I began volunteering at a animal hospital well into my young adult years. I’ve always had a huge passion for helping animals! I’d spend every day of my summertime outside of school hanging around, learning new things, and just helping out when I could while growing up. I grew to love being in an environment of helping animals so much, that when I graduated high school in 2019 I took it upon myself to become a Veterinary Technician. I absolutely loved being the voice for the voiceless. Although, as time went on I realized the sad and difficult moments throughout working as a Veterinary Technician, quickly began weighing me down. It was no longer for me.

So, that’s how we got here! I knew that no matter what, I was meant to work with animals.. which lead me to make the decision 3 years ago to spread my wings and learn how to groom dogs. I have got to say, joining the Dog Grooming community has been the best decision I’ve ever made. After learning everything I needed, I hit the ground running in January of 2023 and opened my own shop… which I have now combined with my cousin, Nancy at Wags 2 Whiskers! The best part is, I now get to host a safe and comfortable environment where dogs of all breeds and sizes can come to get pampered, and go home happy.. alongside my family members! 🐕🐾

My goal with the service I provide is to make a REAL difference to the welfare of all pets!
