This is so very cute and exciting! This sweet girl was playing while on her back, yet I couldn't get my camera fast enough. These are early stages of puppy play. She also is discovering her voice!
Learning happens early and daily! We have been working on sound introduction since the puppies have been 12 days old. We've worked on humming to our puppies and patting the ground in from of them so they could be comfortable with vibrations and to learn our smell.
Around 14 days, their eyes and ears open. We have already been working on soft eye contact and sound exposure. The puppies have been listening to ocean sounds, rainstorms, and thunderstorms on YouTube at varying volumes. We also run the vacuum near them and use the blow dryer close by as well. This is all to help them become use to sounds of all kinds. The video recorded session was short, but we continued vacuuming while the puppies were awake.
