While it is always best to have your pet groomed before he/she is totally matted, groomers understand that sometimes life happens and grooming gets placed on the back burner:)

When that happens, please please understand that sometimes a dogs coat does have to be removed (short and smooth cut) for the comfort and well-being of your pet. If the coat is so matted that de-matting is going to be painful, or your dog’s health/physical condition or temperament won’t withstand de-matting, please accept this with grace and allow your groomer to do what is best for your pet💕💕💕

I am in the process of re-opening Little Darlin's Pet Grooming at our new Waynesville location :) There is a lot of work to be done in the new shop, and I'm working to re-open as soon as I can. I hope to open within the next two weeks and will post updates here as I firm up the date and start scheduling :) Also, I will be contacting those who asked me to by phone to schedule. We underestimated the weather! Due to unsafe road conditions from the current tropical storm, Jessie and I are unable to get to the shop today!

Due to the corona virus outbreak, Little Darlin's Pet Grooming will be closed for the next two weeks beginning March 17th, 2020. We did not make this decision in haste, but after a lot of thinking, talking watching how things are progressing, we feel that this is the most responsible thing we can do to protect ourselves, our customers and our community and hopefully assist in ending the spread of this virus. I hope you are all with us on this! Thank you for your understanding

It's only February, but most of our regular customers have already scheduled for the entire year, and our seasonal friends are already scheduling for April through Thanksgiving. If you would like to be on our schedule for 2020, please call so we can get your pup scheduled

This little girl wandered up to a home on Sloan Street today (Sunday 08/04/19) She is wearing a pink camo harness..I know she's someone's lost baby! The wonderful folks who found her posted pics on FB but didn't find her owners by nightfall. She is with me now (their little dog didn't want an overnight guest lol). I'll take her to the shop (Little Darlin's Pet Grooming) with me tomorrow and contact Animal Control. Someone is missing her...probably almost as much as she is missing them! We are currently scheduling abut 6 weeks out. For all of my regular customers, especially those on a 4, 5 or 6 week schedule, please feel free to schedule as many appointments in advance as you like. I have a few who have scheduled through the end of the year. This way we won't have to worry about having to adjust your pet's grooming schedule :)

This is it! Jessie just called me and they are going to deliver her before the week is over :) Keep her in your thoughts and prayers, send all the good vibes and love you can to her and the new one :):):) I will close the shop at noon tomorrow (Wednesday) and we will be closed Thursday and Friday. If you have an appointment on those days, don't worry....I will be calling you to re-schedule :)
