Happy Wednesday everyone!
There are so many kittens needing homes lately!

There are 3 kittens that showed up at a home around downtown Waynoka that are needing homes. Caretaker said they are eating hard food, but his dogs don’t like cats. Unsure of age, s*x, or colors.

Another kitten found is an Orange one. Unsure of age or s*x. Founder said he seems very scared and not as friendly. Big enough to eat hard food. Picture included in the carrier.

Happy Thursday everyone!

We have a puppy looking for a new home! His current owners got him from a young boy giving away puppies in a parking lot, so they wouldn’t be euthanized.
He is approximately 7-8 weeks old, male, Staffordshire terrier mix. He is very sweet and shy.
He just got his first vaccination and deworming today, and he seems to be healthy. He is currently 10lbs.
If you are looking for a new puppy, foster, or know anyone who is looking then please let me know, and I will get in touch with the owners.

Also don’t forget to look at the other animals that are still looking for new homes! There are still kittens, an adult cat, and another adult pitbull mix on our page that haven’t found homes yet!

Happy Monday everyone!

It is definitely kitten season and I have a few more kittens looking for a new home.
They were born on April 19th, litter box trained, and all 3 are females. They can be adopted individually or all together. They are very sweet and are eating on their own.

She has 3 females looking for new homes. They will be a year old in September. Owner said she will pay $20 towards their spays if you are looking to get them fixed.

Happy Thursday Everyone!
It has been a while since we have posted about cases, and there have been a couple of interesting ones lately! I will attach pictures of surgical cases (with owner's permission), so if you don't like those kinds of pictures then please be prepared.

First case is a Basset Hound that had an extreme amount of extra skin. Her skin was sinking into her eyes and rolling in, which was causing irritation to her eyes. We did an entropion repair and a skin flap removal of the extra skin. Owner's say her eyes are 100 times better than they were before, and she is doing great!

Second case is another Basset Hound that was most likely bit by a snake or spider. His face was swollen to an impressive size and the swelling eventually busted open. Spider and snake bites cause the skin to die, so the dead tissue had to be removed and the wound closed. His face healed up nicely and the swelling is completely gone! He is doing great!

These are great clients and always take excellent care of their pets!

Update: Just a reminder that Milk Dud is still looking for a new home!!

I have a cat that is needing a new home. His owners love him very much, but they are very allergic to him.

His name is Milk Dud. He is a 1 year old, cream colored intact male, medium haired cat. He has not had any vaccinations.
He is litterbox trained but will also go outdoors.
He hasn't been around any other cats, but he gets along with the owner's dogs and plays well with them.

Since May is National Microchip your pet month, we will be having a microchip special until May 31st!

We will be offering microchipping at $30 per pet (cat or dog), which is 15% off regular price!

Microchips are placed right underneath the skin of your pet and is a simple procedure that can be done quickly. Microchips are very useful when your pet is lost and can be used to get them back to you!

Update: Owner has been found!

I had someone bring in an intact male, Blue Merle, Australian Shepherd that was found near the baseball field today. He is very sweet and loving. He has a bluish/green color on but there are no tags. No microchip was found either.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a variety of flea and tick prevention products as well as Heartworm preventions.

Preventions for Dogs include:
Nexgard Plus Chew (monthly) - Flea/tick, Heartworms, Roundworms/Hookworms prevention.

These two dogs are looking for some new homes! The owners are moving and can’t take them with them. They will be going to a shelter on Saturday.
They are Basset Hound mixes (Basset Hound mother) from the same litter. They don’t know what they are mixed with.

Prince (Brown/White) is an 8 month old intact male.
Bubbles (Blonde) is also an 8 month old intact male from the same litter.
They both received a Rabies vaccination when they came to the clinic today, but haven’t had any other vaccinations.
They are both very energetic and have been together since they were born. They have been house broken and are kennel trained.

If you are interested in adopting one or both of these sweet pups before Saturday afternoon, then please let me know I will get you in touch with the owners!

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I have had several people ask about applications for the OVMA Low Income Overpopulation Program lately, so I wanted to remind everyone that we are one of the veterinary clinics that will accept applications for spays/neuters after you have gotten approved by the OVMA.
If you are approved the cost of a spay/neuter is $10 and a Rabies vaccination is $5 for each pet.

Owners must personally fill out an application, send it to the email on the application ([email protected]), and wait for approval. It can take 3-4 weeks to hear back about your approval and possibly longer if they are getting a lot of applications. Right now it is limited to 2 pets (dogs or cats) per household. You must fill out an application for each pet.

I have attached a copy of the new owner application that you can print off or you can come by the clinic and I can print one off for you.

We hope you take advantage of this great opportunity!

Happy Friday everyone!!

I have a stray kitten that was dropped off to get help today. The person who dropped him off wanted him looked at and will be calling Woof pet rescue in Woodward for him.
She told me that if anyone wanted a kitten in the meantime then he can go to a good home!

Male, approximately 2 month old, orange kitten.
He has been dewormed, ears cleaned, treated for fleas,ticks, and mites. He had gunk in his eyes which I cleaned and treated, so the redness in his eyes will get better. He is very friendly and appears healthy otherwise!

If you are interested then let me know!
If anyone is interested and wouldn’t mind paying the $25 for his treatment then that would be great!
