Our old friend Maverick’s first stay at the farm! He thinks the ducklings are old news and LOVES the open fields to run in. He’s sure glad the heat wave is over though. So nice to have him back 🐾

What a weekend! The Wanderlust crew had a great showing at Granite State HRC tests.

Poppy, owned by Skyla Jodoin of flying_squirrel_retrievers, earned her first two Started passes. Two more to go for her title!

Montero, owned by Amelia Gonzalez, earned his third pass at Seasoned which means he gets his HRC HR title!

Thank you to the owners for letting us show off these awesome dogs!

Welcome our new friend Bandit!

He’s all smiles today on his first day of camp with Matt. They got to know each other and worked on some basics at the farm today.

We do have openings for Day Training in the Weare area. It’s a great alternative to doggy daycare because the dogs get individualized training sessions throughout the day while also enjoying activities like group hikes, visits to pet-friendly stores, and play time with our resident crew (if appropriate for the individual dog). Please reach out if you’re interested in signing up for Day Training!

Welcome Pretty Poppy!

This sweet chocolate girl is joining us from flying_squirrel_retrievers to fine tune her retriever skills. She will compete with Matt at several upcoming hunt tests, both HRC and AKC, in order to earn her Started and JH titles.

Poppy is part of our Gun Dog program. If you’d like more information about having your dog participate in this program and earning HRC or AKC hunt test titles with us, please send an email to [email protected]. There’s still room in the truck and time to register for tests later this season!

Looking ahead to summer retriever days! We will be offering Monday sessions and a few Saturday sessions so people have plenty of availability to be competing at hunt tests on the weekends.

Saturdays we will continue to meet at 9:30AM Mondays we will meet at 5:00PM (subject to change depending on heat index)

Change of location to include water work is possible but location is TBD
