Thursday. Set five. Two horses. One Italian.

We’ve waited all year for this moment.

G is thrilled to ride into the pen on Something Metallic, aka Rudy Toody — originally trained by and added to our program earlier this year for Rockin’ WST Cattle. This marks Andrew and Michelle Tuegel’s first Futurity horse, and the entire GMPH team is honored they chose us for this ride.

Heart Like A Trukk, owned by Star C Land & Cattle, will be the tenth horse to show. Huge thanks to Jimmie Annoot for training this horse and to him and .cuttinghorses for the opportunity to step into the pen on this one.

When it counted most, Stylarey laid one down.

Gildo and Scarlet marked a 147 for a big $2,330 payday in Blue Ridge for owner Michelle LeMaster in the 25K Novice yesterday.

Team GMPH wasn’t done yet! Courtenay DeHoff and Lil Metal Rebel added another $798 in the 50K Amateur yesterday, bringing the two-day total on two horses to over $3,700 for Court and G! Three more days to go 💪🏼.

Stylarey never missed a beat after five weeks off picking up two checks at Whitesboro. This mare is giving it her all.

Courtenay DeHoff and Lil Metal Rebel made the 50K Amateur Finals at The Bash, bringing home over $2,600!

This milestone officially pushes Courtenay past $10K in lifetime earnings—all in her first year showing.

“Bucket” (Lil Metal Rebel) holds a special place in the story—he’s the first horse Gildo trained entirely on his own. After he showed Bucket at the NCHA World Finals last year, he handed the reins to Courtenay, and Court & Bucket have been learning and growing together ever since.

From weekend shows to a semi-finals in the Unlimited Amateur at the NCHA Summer Spectacular, and now a finals appearance at the Bash, this duo has come a long way in less than a year.

“This has been one of the coolest—and hardest—things I’ve done in a long time. G and I have spent countless hours unraveling 30+ years of barrel racing and roping habits that just don’t translate in the cutting pen. Bucket pulls double duty as both the practice and show horse, and I’m so grateful to own such a solid horse with an even better foundation—all thanks to G. It hasn’t been easy, but G has stuck with me every step of the way, and I owe him most of the credit.”
