4 week old puppies it’s time to get to work!!! We add alpha pellets litter boxes to their play pen to encourage potty on the scent of grass when they are old enough to potty outside. If you choose to purchase a puppy from CapeWest you will benfit from the hard work we put into their success. Did we mention their Sire is Feild trail Chamption in Ireland?!?!!!

Update on Teal: from our Diesel(FTCH Tullyah Jasper) x Roxy 2024 litter

Message from the owner: “A duck made a mistake and was in our pasture. Had enough time for a quick fun retrieve! Mixed in 2 blind retrieves and drills with it. She did a victory lap with it the first time but settled down after.” - Making us proud Teal!!! 🐾🦆🐾

On pickup day in 2024 Teal was about out the door with her humans when they let us know his wife is Veterinaian. We were & are still completely flattered this family choose a CapeWest Retriever after looking for so long.

These two are special pair! Their first photo together still reminds me dog is truly a man’s best friend. 🐾

This is the closest these British labs will get to a driven shoot like their parents pick up on. Reef on the left, Bones on the right and Spike beside me. Reef and Bones are from our Diesel(FTCH Tullyah Jasper) x Roxy 2024 litter. Spike is one of our client dogs, but is also from British genetics.

Starting to be more photo genic, red collar was a bit to tired to have her photo taken. Here is the litter 5 boys: 2 yellow & 3 black fur, 5 girls: 2 yellow & 1 black fur.

As of Jan 19th: We have 1 yellow female available.

One male spot left. Fur color TDB on pick up day as temperament is a priority to one of our owners who has 2nd pick of the males. If you are interested in a male from this litter we suggest you put a deposit down: if it’s not available on pickup day, then you will have first pick of the next litter to be confirmed mid Feb. If that pregnancy doesn’t take, well refund the deposit or you can roll it over to the next breedings.

Well the pups have out grown the basket & now they will be moved into a crate while the welping box is cleaned. They were not sure about the new flooring at first but then settled right down for a nap. This is socializations @3 weeks old and they did amazing.
