As many of you know on the weekends we show our Bedlingtons Monet and Biddie with friends. We are proud to announce that with hard work we have made the top 10 owner handler in Bedlingtons and have received an invitation to the National Owner Handler Series in Orlando in December! With that being said because we have to rearrange pre- booked appointments we are full for December at this time. We will try to open appointments back up in a few weeks after we figure appointments and when/if we can squeeze in extra days and dogs. If you are interested in a December appointment please message us to be put on our interested list

November appointments are down to the single digits PLEASE message us ASAP.

We hope this message finds you well! As we strive to provide the best grooming services while ensuring the well-being of both our furry friends and ourselves, we have introduced some new rules and requirements that will take effect immediately. We appreciate your understanding as we accommodate everyone's schedules.

1. **Flea and Tick Policy:**
There will now be an additional charge of **$25 per dog** for first-time flea and tick treatments. If a dog returns for a second appointment with fleas or ticks, they will be sent home immediately, and you will be charged for the grooming service along with the flea/tick fee. Proof of monthly prevention (as advised by your vet or in pill form) will be required to book future appointments.

2. **Dematting Services:**
We will no longer be offering dematting services. To maintain your dog’s coat, we recommend spending at least **10 minutes a week** brushing them between visits. If you’re unable to do so, please consider bringing your dog in sooner for regular bathing and brushing sessions.

3. **Appointment Prebooking:**
To better serve all our clients and ensure I have time for myself, all appointments must be prebooked. I am currently fully booked until the end of October and 90% booked for the holiday season. I will be allowing some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate your needs, and I will share a set schedule with all clients in the new year.

4. **Grooming Schedule:**
Each dog will be placed on a grooming schedule based on their lifestyle, temperament, comfort level, and the desired appearance. Most dogs will likely need grooming every **8 weeks or less.**

These changes will help us provide quicker, more efficient appointments and allow us to work with you when unexpected situations arise. Regular grooming will also ensure your dog remains comfortable, well-behaved, and in great shape.

We are grateful for your continued support and love. If you would like to secure one of the few remaining holiday appointments, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

We are booked until August! I highly recommend you prebook your next appointment when you pick up your dog. We do have a cancellation list, but it's pretty long and rare that we have cancellation. We also remind everyone that if you do need to cancel to let us know as soon ASAP so we can fit someone else in and maybe swap appointments, to ensure your furry loved one gets groomed.

We are back and ready to work! We have been very busy responding back to everyone in regards to appointments. If you have reached out to us last week and we have not responded to your request please feel free to remind us.

That being said we are full for the month of May and it's becoming slim pickings in June. Please if you need an appointment please call us ASAP to get in. We encourage everyone to pre book your next appointment at pick up to ensure you get a spot when it's convenient and comfortable for your pet.

We are going to take off most of July for some rest and relaxation and time to refocus. Those that have appointments set in July we will be reaching out at your next appointment to reschedule. With that being said we remind everyone to schedule at pick up their next appointment or call us now to take the few spots at the end of June or beginning of August before they are all taken

We will be away from our phone from Saturday April 20 thru the 29th. You may message us and will get back to you as soon as we can. We will be attending a poodle show for the week with our boy Ken and client Sid. We have 3 appointments left for the end of May.

We have been VERY busy lately and getting busier. We are booking into May right now for 99% of our clients. If we are able to get you in sooner please be aware that we are truly squeezing you in into an already busy day. We ask that everyone arrives on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule know that there is a long wait till the next appointment availability. Also if you need to reschedule or cancel to please let us know ASAP so we can fill your spot with the long line of clients wanting in.

With us so busy please be patient with responses to appointment requests. We will get back to you as soon as possible within 24hrs during the week.

Dear valued clients,

I trust you had a wonderful holiday season and a joyful start to the new year. As we return to work refreshed and invigorated, I wanted to share some important updates.

In line with our commitment to providing top-quality service, we will be implementing a price adjustment. This will be a restructuring aimed at ensuring fair pricing across our services. Clients on a 4-6 week rebooking schedule will experience the most modest increase, while specific factors such as matted dogs, challenging grooming cases, and irregular grooming schedules will be subject to a slightly higher adjustment.

The new pricing details will be communicated privately, and for prebooked appointments, the revised pricing will take effect in February.

Additionally, to better serve you and maintain the highest standards of care, we will be limiting our daily appointment availability. Consequently, appointments are filling up quickly, and our schedule is currently booked until January 30th for most clients. Moving forward, appointment days will be from Tuesday to Friday. Clients with pre-bookings for Saturdays will continue to be accommodated.

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for everyone, it's important to note that a full appointment charge will apply for no-call/no-show instances, along with last-minute cancellations or rescheduling. We will also require arrangements in advance for clients needing to leave their dogs after grooming.

As we embark on this new year, I am prioritizing my health to continue delivering exceptional service to you. I hold great appreciation for your trust and support, and I eagerly anticipate seeing each of you in 2024.

We have VERY few appointments left available between no and Christmas. If you are planning to get your furry friend ready and looking their best for holiday parties message us ASAP to try to get them in. For large family pets or multiple large dog appointments we will need to split appointments. We are booked the week before Christmas.

Most of you guys have meet Mikaila but those that haven't we would love to introduce you to our newest groomer! Mikaila has been helping and learning to groom with us since November. She is doing wonderful! Her and her dog Chester have been a great addition to us. Mikaila LOVES grooming large hairy dogs as she has 3 extra large dogs named Duchess, Goon, and Valerie. I am nearly at capacity and her addition to our team has helped with the long wait to get customers in as soon as possible. My wait times for a grooming appointment is about 2-3 weeks depending on the dog. Mikaila will have 3-7days wait time. If you would like to use Jennifer please let us know; and be expected to wait and would suggest booking your next appointment before you leave. Mikaila has been trained by Jennifer and fully capable of grooming your dog to the standard you have come to expect here at Darwins Grooming Palace. Jennifer's Saturdays are completely booked between dog shows and prebooked appointments. Mikaila will be working one Saturday a month to help get a few customers in. If you would like a Saturday appointment we suggest pre-booking your appointment. Please again help us welcome Mikaila to the Darwins Grooming Palace family!!
