UPDATE!!: Merlin has found a new home! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Hello everyone this is Merlin!! One of our pups and it hurts to rehome him. Owner is rehoming because of her health condition. I’m helping her rehome him. He is basically the perfect family dog. 3 years of age. PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES. Rehoming fee is being asked. He is a a family dog not a working dog. PET ONLY. Owner will love and appreciate updates once gone to new home as well.

Merlin had all his shots and was neutered on 7/14/2024. Has a years’ worth of Simparica Trio for him.
Merlin’s favorite thing to do is play fetch. His favorite toy for this is a ball but any toy will do. Merling is more active for sre!
Merlin’s interactions with:
Other dogs: He does well, he currently lives with 2 other dogs
Cats: He lived with 2 cats for 2 years, he never hurt them, but he did want to play with them and his idea of play (pouncing at them) is not a cats idea of play.
People: He is good with meeting new people as long as the owner is hands-on with him during the introduction. Merlin does like to jump up on people but he ill usually stop when told no
Merlin is an inside dog, but he does love being outside to play and potty breaks
Merlin is potty trained and knows the following commands/words: sit, stay, no, outside, potty, treat, food, water.
Merlin is not much of a cuddler. He does like to watch TV but tends to get excited and start barking if anything tense or exciting is going on the TV, i.e animals show up, people dancing, loud screaming like in horror movies, any situation where people are excited and hollering like a sporting event scene. Merlin is on Pedigree with Tender Bites for small dogs because he seems to dislike full crunchy food and does not seem to care for canned food. He does really well with the Pedigree.
Currently in Jacksonville, TX and willing to drive an hour or so for a meet half way type of situation if need be. Call or text or leave a message. 972-464-6016 or 972-677-9479
We do have a chuck-it tool with 2 balls, a chuck-it stick, a food bowl, a leash, a collar, and a food container, I would be happy to send with him. The water bowl is on its last days or I would include that too. He is good on a leash as well!
