Heartland Animal Hospital opened in January of 1998 to serve families of western Oklahoma. We are a small animal hospital, caring for dogs, cats & some small exotic pets. The pet/human bond benefits both people & animals, and we strive to help you provide the best care for your pets long life. This small animal hospital is a full service general practice. Services provided include vaccinations, al

lergy injections, routine surgeries, laser therapy, basic dental care, diagnostic procedures, preventive medicine, boarding & pet supplies. Here at Heartland we also have 2 groomers on staff that groom both dogs & cats. If your furry friend needs to spend the week or just the day we also offer boarding in our climate controlled kennel. Camp Wolgamutt provides a spacious kennel for your pet to stay in as well as three fenced yards to exercise in during the day. We believe the most important goal at our practice is keeping your pet healthy. We would love a chance to care for you & your pet.

Meet Honey Bear! 🍯 🐻

This sweet little guy is looking for a loving home. His mom was just placed in the nursing home & is unable to care for him, so we are looking for a trustworthy individual to take over his care. He is very sweet & is a very good lap dog ❤️

He is 4.5 years of age, a whole 7 pounds, and current on vaccinations. He has not been neutered.

We have 2 female kittens & 1 female adult cat up for adoption at Heartland Animal Hospital!

The adult cat (bottom left) will have to be in a single cat home, she does NOT play well with others. She would be a wonderful lap cat for older individuals, she loves attention from humans ❤️

The calico tabby kitten (top right) is a sweet girl, but very skittish. She would do better with adults only & no children.

The tabby kitten (top left) is the more social of the two kittens. She loves to play and is your typical ornery kitten!

All three have been vaccinated with rabies & indoor vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, and spayed. The kittens will require a booster shot for the indoor vaccine. The adult will be due in a year for her yearly vaccines.

Don’t forget that May is Spay and Neuter month at Heartland Animal Hospital, all sterilization surgeries are discounted for the entire month! We use a surgical laser to perform the actual sterilization process. This reduces pain, inflammation, bleeding, & risk of infection. We also use a post-operative laser (shown in video) to enhance the healing process of the surgical incision. You are eligible to receive this discount as long as you schedule your pet’s surgery during the month of May. The surgery itself does not have to happen in May, but it must be scheduled during our special deadline to receive the discount.
