A warm welcome to our newest Foster Perky Pals, Tank 2.0 and Ripley! Tank 2.0 is a 3-4 year big ol boy clocking in at 107 lbs! He loves the pool, belly rubs and calm dogs. Sweet Ripley is around 7 months old and full of playful energy! She loves playing chase, treats, and being a cuckoo crazy girl! They both walk great on a leash, are up to date on shots, are spayed/neutered, heart worm negative, have amazing smiles and tons of love to give! If you are interested in either one of these angels, please reach out to me or for more info and so you can meet your new best friend!

Our program has been overwhelmed with new requests for temporary fostering assistance. We desperately NEED NEW FOSTER FAMILIES to help these individuals keep their beloved dogs while they seek treatment.

A typical foster term is 30-90 days, then the dogs are reunited with their owner. Dogs Matter will cover any medical needs, can arrange transport, and assist with pet supplies. You just have to provide a loving short-term home.

Please help us keep these families together and prevent more dogs from being needlessly surrendered to already overcrowded shelters!!

Sweet Foster Perky Pal Curly lived with us for the last few months of his life because his mom became too ill to care for him, and now they’re reunited forever. Sara made a giant impact on everyone in the Bishop Arts area and to everyone who knew her. I’m so happy I was able to help such a special woman and her special dog in their final months.

Thank you to Sara’s friends and family for honoring her by asking for donations to Dogs Matter, I know it would make her so happy 💜

All my Foster Perky Pals who are patiently waiting for their forever homes! Sasha, Mindy and Archer all MUST be spoiled, non negotiable, I won’t hear otherwise. Obviously we would consider all who are interested in applying for any of them but I envision:
Sasha going to a cantankerous elderly gentleman who is missing some love and smiles in his life and will let her sunbathe and give her lots of belly scratches and treats, she’s very easy to please.
Mindy going to a single millennial influencer who will take her traveling and to Instagrammable places and give her ice cream and attention (and training, my girl needs it). Or even a swamp because she prefers to swim in gross water and mud, she’s really not picky.
Archer going to an active couple or frat bro looking for responsibility and an extra way to pick up chicks, who play a lot and does crunchy granola stuff like camping and hiking, even better if they have another dog who needs a buddy, he gets along great with everyone!

I love each of these angel babies and can’t wait for them to find their new families! Please let me know if this sounds like you or share this if you think of anyone who could benefit from their unconditional love 💜

Welcome back to Perky Pal Jinx who brought his foster sister Beya! Beya is such a sweet little shepherd (?) mix who is 8 months old and fully vaccinated! She is a little hesitant around new dogs and people for literally just like 3 minutes and then she is her cute, spunky, playful, friendly and silly self! She is potty and crate trained, and aside from a little pulling she is great at walking on a leash! She is quite small at her age, she weighs a little over 30 lbs which is why we’re not sure if she is a shepherd but she sure looks like one! If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting this sweet angel, please let me know and I’ll get you connected with her foster mom 💜💜

Who remembers this video? It’s my favorite video I’ve ever taken! Sweet Perky Pal Archer (the stuck one) is available for adoption as his mom is unable to care for him anymore so I’ll be fostering him until we can find him his forever home! Archer is a lab mix who is 3 years old, HW-, updated on all of his shots, neutered and aside from having a sensitive tummy that requires him to be on Science Diet Sensitive Stomach, he’s perfectly healthy! Archer gets along GREAT with other dogs, he’s crate trained and potty trained, and just needs to find an active person, couple or family to love him! He would do great with another dog and would love to have a yard! I’ll post the link to his adoption on my Facebook post, so please apply or share this post so we can get him his happy ending!
