I’m really proud of this horse on the heel side. He’s a 3yo by Kit Kat sugar out of a dual Rey mare that won 42k. These videos are of the first and 2nd steer he has ever chased out of the box. He’s had a year of cutting training and will make a nice cutter, sorter, calf, or heel horse. He’s small, measuring 13.1, but he has plenty of speed and lots of heart. He’s for sale. Mid 2x,###. He’s the kind that will be fun for the whole family for Many years! He’s started in the breakaway also.

Nice little 3yo filly I’ve had the privilege of riding for the last 16 months. She’s been in training to cut, and is on track, but I feel like she wants to be a rope horse instead. This is a snapshot of her 1st day, 3rd calf to run out of the box!

Got my feet wet doing something a little different yesterday. I’ve competed in all kinds of equestrian events over the last 20 years, but nothing as challenging or humbling as cutting. This little horse has been in training with me for about 9 months, and I couldn’t be happier with how he is coming along. This run was good enough for 2nd in the amateur herd work. Thank you Colby Earls for giving me the opportunity to ride him.
