While the Fourth of July is a fun and exciting holiday for us, it can be stressful for horses. Ensure a worry-free celebration with these tips:
🎆Provide your horse with shelter to prevent spooking or runaways.
🎆Be aware of the date, times and length of firework shows in the area.
🎆Drown out the sound of fireworks with loud noises (barn fans, radios, or a white noise machine).
🎆Schedule an appointment for any needed sedation well in advance of the holiday with your veterinarian.
