We would like to give a BIG warm Holland Lake welcome to Dr. Foard.
You have potentially have already seen her around the clinic working some relief days with us, but she is officially joining our Veterinarian team coming February 3rd!
Below is a short bio to help introduce her to our wonderful clientele.

Dr. Amanda Foard grew up on her family’s horse farm in Ocala, Florida. During her childhood, she had a variety of pets and showed horses competitively up until leaving for veterinary school. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University in 2017, then moved to Texas shortly after to begin her career. Originally starting in mixed animal practice in the Weatherford area, she migrated her career path to small animals and eventually emergency medicine. Her professional interests include emergency and urgent/critical care and soft tissue surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Foard enjoys competing in reined cow horse events, traveling, boating, and raising cattle with her husband and mother. She and her husband Tyler, share their home with two beloved dogs, Sancho, a black Labrador, and Ralphie, a Schnauzer mix.

****UPDATE****
Everything is back on and we are back to business as usual!!

Hey guys just want to let everyone know our electricity went out as of a few mins ago. We have called the City, they are aware and working to resolve the issue. We are still able to answer a few phone calls off of our personal phones but are going much much slower then typical. Will update y’all as soon as we are up and running as normal.

****Friday January 10th Morning closure****

Due to the temps dropping back down to below freezing tonight we have decided to remain closed at least through tomorrow morning. We will re-assess the road conditions to hopefully be able to open for the afternoon! We will keep everyone updated as soon as we know.

Due to worsening weather conditions and ensuring the safe travels of our staff and doctors we did end up having to close the clinic early today. Tomorrow’s hours will depend again on weather conditions but we will keep everyone updated as soon as we know something. We hope everyone has a safe, warm, fun snow day!

Good Afternoon!! We just wanted to take a minute to make sure everyone is aware of our upcoming Holiday Closures:

Christmas: We will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve, and Wednesday, December 25, Christmas Day. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday, December 26.

New Year: We will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, New Year's Eve, and Wednesday, January 1, New Year's Day. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday, January 2.

Hey everyone, I am sorry to say that our Spectrum internet service is out again today. We can answer some phone calls and are trying to help as many people as possible but it is slowing us down significantly.
If you are unable to get through to us we can also receive text messages to 817-599-9971 and will get back to you ASAP. According to Spectrum, we are tentatively supposed to be back up and running by 2:40ish this afternoon. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Good morning everyone! We just wanted to let y'all know that we are currently experiencing an internet outage and unfortunately, our computer systems and phone lines work off of this. We are able to answer phone calls and texts but are moving much slower than normal due to limited system access. This also means our exam times are taking a little longer than normal. We do appreciate your patience as we navigate through this and try to help as many of our wonderful clients as possible.

I will update everyone as soon as we are up and running normally.
