We went to Showdown on the Bosque Rabbit show this past weekend. Learned new things for our Holland Lops and Placed 1st and 2nd with our Lilacs. Canton really liked the judge.😜

Bunny Play Day! We took the holland lop babies out for a bit to run around and get some sun.
8 weeks on Nov. 23rd. then they'll be available. Taking reservations now.

Raising rabbits is tough sometimes.

You never know what's gonna happen.
This summer, I had 4 does deliver babies.
NONE of the babies survived and Ky's 1st doe, Rosie, passed during delivery.
I think it was just too hot this summer. They were in an air conditioned barn at the time, but now they have a great set up! My sweet husband insulated the whole barn, got me some new flooring, and put in an exhaust fan. He set up an even better air conditioner. I have access on my phone to moniter the temperature, and it alerts me if it goes above or below certain temps. And I have a cameras in there so I can peek in on them if needed.

This past Saturday, 9-28, we had two does have 6 babies each. And so far ALL 12 babies are still alive.

My sweet husband spent all day digging this trench so I could have electricity in my bunny barn. I've been using an extension cord to keep them cool but it's just too hot and can't keep up. I lost one due to heat. So I brought all of them (11 adults and 7 babies) inside until we can be sure it won't get too hot. Holland Lops are bougie and like it cool. They can't handle it over about 86°! Caden Martin

We went to the Weatherford Showdown this past weekend.
Our Sr. Buck, Kozy Lane's Pickles, got 2nd in the Holland Lop Sr. Buck Division. Our lilacs won 1st and 2nd in the lilac group. Kylee's lilac rabbit, Fettuccini, won 3rd place out of ALL the rabbits at the show.
