Meet Meekers!

This sweet young man is such a gentleman and tries so hard to be the best boy! Meekers is thrilled to see anyone walk into the kennels and greets them enthusiastically. He loves to play and would be a great walking partner. Poor Meekers is so tired of being in his kennel and would love to have a home.

Meekers is estimated to be about 10 months old. He’s neutered, chipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home!

CATS IN NEED‼️

Got mice? Our barn cats will work for kibble!

Our feral cat house is entirely full. Please help us help the cats by providing a working home for them!

There is never any cost to take a barn cat home! Come to the shelter WITH A LIVE TRAP and we will send you home with your new mousers and instructions on how to get them set up.

We are open today from 11am-5:45pm.

After today, adoption fees will return to our regular prices of $100 for female dogs, $90 for male dogs, and $50 for cats.

Mars is here to let you know that he and some of his buddies will be at our adoption event at Russell Feed and Supply here in Weatherford tomorrow from 10am-2pm! ☀️

We will have variety of different dogs all looking for their forever homes. Calm dogs, playful dogs, speckled dogs, wonky-eared dogs! All of whom are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. 🐾🐶

One of the services we're glad to provide to residents of Parker County is pet food assistance for those in need. We are currently out of dry cat food for our pet food pantry!

If you would like to donate cat food to our pet food pantry, please drop by the shelter any time during business hours Tuesday-Friday 11am-5:45pm or Saturday 11am-4pm. The families and kitties we serve sure would appreciate it!

🐾 PUPDATE! 🐾

Who remembers Fridge? It’s hard to forget a big, lovable Pit Bull with the sweetest eyes and a heart of gold! From the moment you met him, he had a way of stealing hearts. Well, here he is—living his best life in his forever home, proving once again that these gentle giants are more than their stereotype. 💙

"I wanted to say thank you so much for being so patient and helping me adopted Fridge. He'll eventually answer to Brodie Uhtred Pearson lol.
He has been wonderful. He rode in car so well. He did excellent in pet store, has not barked once yet, he didn't chase a cat he saw, he was so gentle when he met my 82yo parents, he didn't jump on the furniture, he doesn't beg for food, and is so loveable. I'm going to love and spoil him till our end. He is the best dog. He loves golf cart rides, car rides, he's gentle with my parents. He's so smart."
