We are excited to announce Clint Johnson and HARD NO are the 2024 National Reined Cow Horse Association Limited Open Hackamore National Champions! They also secured the NRCHA South-Central Region Limited Open Hackamore Championship!

We are so grateful for this horse, the opportunities we have been given and the goals we were able to accomplish this year! We have big things in the works for 2025!

We’re done showing at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity and grateful for another good horse show! HARD NO won almost $900 for two days of work! Thank you to all of our family and friends that made the trip to support us, it means the world!

The Level 1 Limited Open rein work completed the first leg of the Open divisions NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, presented by Metallic Cat, this morning in the John Justin Arena. Congratulations to our high scoring team!

The Futurity Open action will continue with herd work, starting on October 11 in the Will Rogers Coliseum!

We were blessed at the SRCHA Pre-Futurity in Fort Worth last week! Hard No added $1,500+ to his LTE and brought home a buckle for winning the LOH Circuit! We can’t say enough good things about this horse and his demeanor! Grateful to have one in the barn that can compete at all levels! 🔥

We’re kicking off the SRCHA Prefuturity in Fort Worth today with the Open Derby Herd work! Rein work and Fence work will wrap up the Derby on Thursday, then we will come back next Monday for the Limited Open Hackamore!

We’re home from the Hackamore Classic and still overjoyed from the week! Thank you to everyone for the calls, texts, and Congratulations we received! We are very grateful to live the life we do!

THEY DID IT! 💪🏼

Clint Johnson and HARD NO are the 2024 NRCHA Hackamore Classic L1 Open Derby and Limited Open Hackamore Champions! They marked a 216 on a Cow to clinch their lead! This is Clint’s first Premier Limited Aged Event win and to do it on one of our own feels extra special!

They’re bringing home $5,200+ in prize money, a buckle, a bronze statue, and more for their efforts!

A big THANK YOU goes out to Clint’s Herd help; Boyd Rice, Cory Cushing, Chris Dawson, and Tyler Merrill!

Multiple Cowhorse families have been instrumental in getting Clint where he is today. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all the support along the way!

Clint trained Hat Six Okie Jonez as 2 year old and showed him at the Futurities and a few Derbies in the Cowhorse! They had some success his Futurity year and won the L1 Reining at the NRCHA Futurity!
