February is , which is dedicated to the awareness of the importance of your pet’s dental health. Why is your pet’s dental health so important? Most people brush their own teeth at least twice daily, floss daily, and see the dentist at least yearly for an examination and cleaning. Generally, dogs and cats do not get their teeth brushed every day, and at best, they may visit the veterinarian for an oral examination once a year. Pets cannot point to their teeth when they hurt, and some just suffer with harmful bacteria reproducing below their gum line that can permanently impair their organ function. That’s why it’s important to not only decrease plaque accumulation on your pet’s teeth but also arrange regular professional dental exams and cleanings. To schedule an annual exam, contact our us at 508-943-7297.

We are asking our clients to please bear with us during this trying time. We will be VERY short staffed over the next couple weeks but will remain open. Please be patient and understanding with our staff - the next few weeks will be challenging and they will be working hard to provide you with the service you have come to expect from us.

We know that many of our clients have been frustrated with our mask requirements and COVID protocols, but situations like this are the reason we require them. Keeping our staff and clients safe is top priority during these unprecedented times.

Thank you for your continued support. By working together, we will get through these challenging times. As you know, the well-being of our clients, staff, family and furry friends is our number one priority.

The past year has been nothing short challenging. We have all had to adjust and adapt to a new “normal.” Although we are not out of the woods yet it is refreshing that we are taking steps towards getting back to some sort of normalcy. I’m sure you have heard we are now allowing clients into the building for appointments. We are asking that you wear a mask and call when you arrive so that we can safely es**rt you and your pet into a room. It is great to finally see you all again and we can’t thank you enough for your support and patience during these time.
There are a few changes we would like to inform you about. It is with heavy hearts we are saying good bye to Dr. Geller as of August 31. We are so grateful for the years Dr. Geller has been a part of the Webster Lake Team, we will all miss her as she is an incredible doctor and wonderful person. We wish her continued health, happiness and success.
Though we are saddened to see Dr. Geller go we are excited to introduce Dr. Abby Brisbois to the Webster Lake family. Dr. Brisbois is a lifelong resident of Webster. She graduated as valedictorian from Bartlett High School in 2010 and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Stonehill College. She spent time working in research at the Tufts Hospital for large animals before attending Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate degree. Outside the office she enjoys boating on Webster Lake, working out at the gym, hiking with her dog Reckless and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to care for the animals in her own community and is looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends.
It has been a year full of challenge, change and perseverance. As we move forward together in these unprecedented times, Webster Lake Veterinary Hospital we will continue to be there for you and your pets. Again, we want to thank you all for your continue support and please join us in welcoming Dr. Brisbois and wishing Dr. Geller the best on her future endeavors.

It has been a LONG year and a half and we are happy to announce that we will be reopening our facility effective July 1, to clients. Below is our reopening policy that we ask clients adhere to. We understand that not everyone may agree with these policies below, but we are confident that they are legally and ethically justified and most importantly, that they take appropriate steps to protect us ALL.
