I've been watching this bird for almost 25 years. They have been a client since almost the beginning. I've know all the dogs and cats they've had since then as well, and loved each and every one. Kiwi the bird however holds a special place in my heart. 💙 See comments for pics of him.

Homemade bone broth for gut health!some for now and some to freeze. Also a pineapple 🍍 to cut up and freeze. So good for dogs! A nice cooling treat for the warm days! Watermelon is great too.

Good morning to all my followers and friends and clients. I hope this day finds you well it is a beautiful sunny day. I am here to ask that if anyone is planning on cleaning out their linen closet, I would love all of your old worn bath towels to use as dog towels here. I am running low and any help with that would be appreciated. Also if anyone buys dog treats and their dog decides they don't like them or dog food anything like that I will happily take your leftovers. I use them for enrichment games with the dogs. If anyone has anything like that now feel free to comment on this post or text me at 585-703-9949 and I will happily come and collect your discards. When your pup comes for their stay cation, they get lots of special treats. Fat free greek yougurt, natural peanut butter, and blueberries are on the menu for this weekend. Frozen and such a healthy treat!

UPDATE: Thank you to anyone who has provided information, all leads are being followed up on by the SPCA Cruelty Investigator. The mama dog has been moved to a foster home and is doing well. Unfortunately, we still do not have her puppies.

This poor mama dog was found at 5:30 am dumped in a crate with a blanket over it on Clinton St. in Whitesboro. A Good Samaritan found her on their way to work and she was just brought to us. She is fully engorged and lactating, so she was very recently nursing puppies. If anyone has ANY information on this dog or her puppies, or has recently gotten a puppy that looks like her, please contact the shelter at 315-738-4357. Thank you.
