Luke (Hang Tough Peppy) enjoying his whirlpool therapy bath at the TNRHA show in Murfreesboro after doing a great job for owner / rider Lilla Woodham. A special thanks to Rebecca Adams for allowing Lilla to purchase Luke. It is always difficult to let go of a great horse, but sometimes something so obvious comes along that you know it’s the right thing to do. We are very excited for Lilla and happy to hear that Rebecca has also found a new mount. I think this is going to be a wonderful thing for everybody.😊❤️
Something to make you smile. This is ‘Flip’ ❤️
Some of them are just born easy going. This is day two with a saddle. Yesterday was just as uneventful. Her mama was the same way. Looking forward to this one#knotajerseygirl

The ‘Pro Am’ rider switch off. This was a really fun event!
It’s ‘horse show day’ here at APH. We divide our big arena to make a show ring and a warm up area so our riders can school themselves and their horses before the real show. 😊
Annies Miss Skeet says ‘this is the life’ as she enjoys her spa treatment at The Classic! This much loved mare deserves her pampering since its been show after show after show these days! Most recently - just this past week - it was The Florida Classic in Jacksonville.
We took three riders to the Classic this year and they did pretty well! Bev and Wallena (Dragonfly In Amber) walked away from the AQHA with a 4th out of 48 entries on Monday with a quiet schooling run. Caylee and Buster (DP Shinin Nite) took the second place score for a third placing in the Youth 14-18. In the same class Lilla and Miss Annie (Annies Miss Skeet) took a 4th place score to tie 8th. Both of these girls had rides to be honored in a strong class of 31 entries at a large show. While we didn’t get any blue ribbons this show, we had a good time and certainly had some good rides. So now we take a deep breath and relax at home - at least for a week or two - before the shows start up again! The horses will get pampered with grooming and grassy turn outs as they take a few days off!
Perhaps our next post will be something lazy and wonderful - horses hanging out in green pastures, riders lollygagging on the barn porch, George relaxing and doing nothing - oh - wait - we all know that “George relaxing” thing aint happenin’…
