In the next few weeks I plan on doing some general maintenance at the saddle club. If anyone would like to help you can message us. Bushhogging, weedeating, cleaning the buildings and fixing some areas in them. If you wanna mow bring a mower, if you want to weedeat bring that, if you want to clean build8bring that. Due to most of our clubs help including myself working in hay last week and this week we are canceling our memorial weekend shows. Hay is kinda important to horse owners so before you start complaining why don't you pick up a weedeater or bring your lawn mower and help get things ready for the next show. I'm sorry we couldn't make this happen but we are a small club and we all stay busy with our personal life as well.... again my apologies!!

To our equine community: Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is monitoring the current Equine Herpesvirus Type 1 (EHV-1) outbreak in Florida. At this time, there are no restrictions imposed by the State of Florida or the State of Alabama on interstate movement of horses; however, if you are planning on traveling to Florida with your horse, we recommend contacting the venue of destination for movement requirements and restrictions, and discussing this travel with your veterinarian to ensure your horse is safe to travel and has a up-to-date health certificate. If you have a horse traveling from Florida to your premises, we recommend contacting your veterinarian before the horse arrives to discuss origin of the horse and biosecurity measures that would need to be instituted on the farm.
