We honored our precious friend, Jen, today. It’s amazing & overwhelming how fast she captured our hearts in such a short time span. Speaking personally, she captured my heart faster than I realized. I keep wanting to reach out to her. My sweet friend, we (I) miss you beyond words!

We thank you all for your kind words and support. From her family, there will be a memorial service this Saturday, July 27th at 3pm at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Florence, SC. Visitation will begin at 2pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Jen McGee. We lost Jen yesterday after a sudden heart attack and yet we remain in shock and disbelief that such a wonderful person can be taken from this world so quickly. Jen was a major part of this barn as our instructor, boarder, and was the next manager at Gainey’s Horse Heaven Stables, Inc.

Beyond her immeasurable contributions to this barn family, she was also a mentor, a hardworking mother, and a dear friend. Between spending time laughing in the barn, adventures with our program horses, and her quick witty humor, there will never be another like you. On behalf of her students, our boarders, the barn staff, friends, and family, rest in peace Jen McGee.

Boarding Space available on our wonderful farm, for all disciplines.

We offer self-care, full-care field and full-care stall boarding options. Facility boasts boarder tack room, electric fencing, private location, trails, arena, round pen, wash rack, tie out post, cross ties with mats.

Small turnout groups or individual turnout. Full-care includes a round bale outside, hay inside (if stalled) and 1 feeding per day with grain made for us by the local mill. We can add on extra feedings, deworming, holding for vet and farrier, and more. Trainer and instructor on site for training rides and lessons.

Kisses - 15 year old, 12hh (will post picture with a stick this week), gaited pony.

Kisses is a wonderful, spirited pony. She can trot and canter, but is gaited. She is currently in our lesson program, but searching for her one on one human. Kisses has been trail riding, ridden English and western, carries a small adult, rides in the ring and round pen.

Does not need lunged or prepped but thrives in a program. She would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider.

She ties, stands, loads, trailers.

Up to date on coggins, vaccines and feet. Is not super mareish. Lives out 24/7, barefoot, easy keeper.

This past weekend we got to get out and check out another organized trail ride. We had a great time and enjoyed some good weather on some amazing horses.
