We are also an ARBA registered Rabbitry & offer dwarf and mini bunnies for in home companionship. Copper Creek breeds standard Australian shepherds. Our dogs are raised around young children and family. They are worked and also play hard. We are located in the Lincoln National Forest, W**d, New Mexico.

About the Copper Creek Family

We have always had an overwhelming love for all animals. We especially fell in love with Standard Australian Shepherds due to their willingness to learn, agility, eagerness to please, obedience and of course - how fluffy and adorable they are! We come from a family that has 37+ years of breeding experience when it comes to Australian Shepherds. Our pup are ASDR and/or AKC registered. We have had pups become service dogs, agility champions, full working ranch dogs, shed hunters and life long family companions.

We also breed miniature and dwarf bunnies for home companionship. This is so fun as most of our buns only reach 3 pounds at maturity and are super soft and cuddly. They make fantastic companions for elderly, people with high anxiety or those who just love snugly, tiny, indoor, unique pets.

We are a family owned and operated business. All of our animals are right here with us - at home. We have a 60x60 climate controlled doggie barn for our dogs at night that connects to a full acre, fully fenced area. Our dogs are allows in and out of the house whenever they please, they go hiking with us, to work with us and help around the ranch with chores. They are around horses, chickens, goats, bunnies, deer, turkey, elk and TONS of children! They are handled and loved from the moment they enter this world.

Our bunnies are housed in a separate bunny barn that is also climate controlled. Because we do live in the Lincoln National Forest in W**d, NM; elevation 6,400 ft above sea level we do have mountain lions, bobcats and EVEN black bears our bunnies get supervised yard time and their bunny barn in very secure and safe for them. They are handled and socialized beginning at 4 days old. All of our buns are vaccinated to prevent/protect against myxomatosis, Rabbit (Viral) Haemorrhagic Disease (R(V)HD) and a new strain of R(V)HD - R(V)HD2.
