Dog Grooming By Appointment

With the upcoming holiday season approaching, I would love to help a special place that filled some of my children memories.

As some of you may not know, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia around the age of 3, 32 years later, clear and healthy! 🙏 Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, is where I was treated.

My memories of being there, making friends, picking out vhs tapes out in the hallway, and picking out toys out of the toy chest after blood draws, buying my favorite Chiclets Gum in the gift shop 🩷 The most fun memories were playing with my siblings in the playroom, with the fun wallpaper ( in the attached video 🙂 still the same after all these years , and all the things that made it fun as much as it could be at the time.

Blank Children's Hospital has an Amazon Gift Registry for many different items needed. If you are able this season, it would be a blessing for these kids to have an extra toy to help their stay feel more like home and have a moment to be a kid.
