🦃✨ Happy Thanksgiving, Poodle Fam! ✨🦃
This year has been a quieter one with our pups, but life has kept me on my toes like a well-trained poodle in a sit-stay! 🐩💨 I can’t wait to share all the exciting things happening here… just as soon as I herd all my ducks into a proper heel. 🦆🐾
Standard poodles aren’t just masters of zoomies and fluff—they’re brilliant, loyal, and always eager to learn (though they’re still convinced the couch is theirs). They’ve taught me so much about love, patience, and the joy of working with dogs to bring out their best selves. 💕
As we gather today, let’s remember our pups are part of the family too! Keep them safe from turkey bones, stuffing, and chocolate, but feel free to slip them a little plain turkey or green beans—because nothing says “I’m thankful for you” like a healthy, happy dog! 🦴🐾
Wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with blessings, wagging tails, and all the love a poodle can pack into a day.

🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸
Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all who served. Thank you, veterans, for your unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms. We are endlessly grateful! 🙏❤️💙
📖 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13
May we remember and honor you not just today but always.

Congratulations Lea Mellerup-Lund !!!!
She has this to say about her amazing experience! I just thought we all needed some light today.
A little over a week ago this handsome poodle and I participated in the ICF World Championships 🐩〰️🚴♀️
Lui was the only poodle (and probably first poodle ever) to participate and he was absolutely incredible 😍
We didn’t win anything but he definitely stole peoples hearts and several officials complimented our performance and participation. One of them even told me “you two are what this sport is about” 😱❤️
A true power poodle and my one in a million teammate 🐩❤️

Heartbreaking News in Our Breeding Program
Today, I’m sharing some unexpected and sad news. Our sweet Mina, whom we’d hoped might still be carrying a singleton puppy, has officially lost her pregnancy. This is the first time we’ve faced this in our breeding journey, and though it’s not uncommon, it’s still a hard reality for us.
This season has always been my favorite, filled with the joy of preparing for new puppies, the thrill of snuggles, that intoxicating puppy breath, and the laughter of puppy antics as we start them on the path to service work. For me, there’s truly nothing like it.
This year, with all its twists and turns, we’d planned on aviation-inspired call names—playful, lighthearted names to close out 2024 with a smile. While that plan isn’t meant to be, I believe God’s timing always holds purpose. Maybe He saw how busy life’s been and knew a pause would be best.
So, I’ll keep holding on to hope and gratitude, and we’ll be dreaming big for what’s to come next. Thank you all for your support; it means the world.

He just turned one on the 24th and has already snagged his CGC and Trick Dog titles today ! 🎓✨ Traveling all the way to Louisiana to pick up this Smart Ass Poodle was SO worth it—this boy’s temperament started off shy, no confidence, he peed everytime he met someone and there were times I wondered if we would ever bond but now, he is my buddy and his Happy Disposition shines just as bright as his flashy coat! 🌟 Can’t wait to see what’s next on Ollie’s journey! 🐕💪

Rehoming: Wally, a 7-month-old 50lb Chocolate Standard Poodle
Wally is looking for his forever home! This lovable pup was returned to me because his previous owners couldn’t handle his needy personality. He loves being right next to you—like in between your legs whether you’re cooking or folding laundry—but he enjoys time in his kennel when you sit down.
Wally is searching for his person to go for strolls and enjoy a good book in the evenings. He was raised in a house with teen age kids after leaving our home, and while he loves them, he truly enjoys adult snuggle time on the couch and has enjoyed playing with the dogs here. I think having another dog would be good for him.
**Details:**
- House trained
- Knows basic commands
- Good with kids and cats
- Very tender-hearted
- AKC Limited Registration
- Rehoming fee applies
If you’re interested, please let me know. Thank you!

Good night
It’s real life over here sleeping puppies but not sleepy kids! 😂 laundry and one last puppy pad change.
When my Mom was in High School she rescued a Standard Poodle, this was her first encounter with the breed. She fell in love with the breed and knew one day she would own another. As a child I rescued everything I could, Shiloh was a major inspiration to me. I went on to volunteer working with local shelters, started dog training and from there my life started falling into place. Fast forward a few years for my Mom and Me, enjoying being neighbors talking about memories, hopes and dreams and of coarse dogs were the main thread in our conversation. After 12 years of Dog Training, I had worked with almost every breed and had fallen in love with the Standard Poodle. One thing led to another and the conversation of adding this Magnificent breed to our homes was all we could talk about.
Mom needed a dog that would accompany her on her trail rides with her Mule Uland, and her Arabian, Duce. Something that would be a companion, and just all around healthy athletic go getter just like her. The poodle fit the bill and also fulfilled her long desire to own a Standard Poodle.
I needed a family dog, good with homestead life (farm animals and kids), something big enough to go on family hikes, but in tuned enough with our emotions to handle some of our families special needs. As you guessed it once again the Poodle fit what we were looking for.
Once we started looking back in 2012 we couldn’t find what we were looking for. This mystical Standard Poodle we were looking for apparently didn’t exist unless we wanted to pay some serious money and travel to the ends of the earth. Not that money is an issue, if you have every owned a dog you know they are not cheep and a Standard Poodle well the investment alone is a good reminder that money will be no object . The Grooming every 4-6 weeks, Raw Diet, Vet check ups, Heartworm medicine, flea and tick prevention, and if no one told you Standard Poodles are so clumsy until about 18months to 2 years of age. They are the best comical relief, even after they get out of the teenage years. After looking for a few years, saving and really preparing for this next adventure, we realized that there was a need for affordable healthy, intelligent, athletic, and compassionate Standard Poodles for everyday people but mostly for people who may be needing Service, Therapy, or Emotional Support companions.
So we set off to look for just that, we decided that we wanted to Breed Standard Poodles responsibly. We have made this a family affair and strive to help families and handlers find their match.
Our leading lady is Splendidly Happy, she is Genetically Sound, Intelligent, and most of all for my Mom she is athletic! Happy is my Moms riding companion going out on trails anywhere from 5-20 miles long keeping pace with her the whole way.
Ander is My big boy healthy as a horse but has no desire at all to “go the distance” he is perfect for our home. Ask something of him once and he is on it, but most of his days are spent hanging out with the kids, playing in the tank, and sleeping where ever.
Magneto is Moms young man, he just hit breeding age (2) this year and is enjoying being a first time Dad. We call him Neto because he is just that. Mom drove a few states over to add him to our family. We loving call him our Ferdinand, he has always been a big boy, but all he wants to do is play, lay under the bird feeders and bird watch. But don’t let him fool you. The moment he hears the four-wheeler he is up and ready to run. Mom has been building up his running abilities so that this year he can start accompanying her and Happy on trail rides all across the USA.
All of our dogs are DNA tested, and Vet Cleared before breeding. We have read, researched, and continue to seek to improve our knowledge of not only dog behavior but Standard Poodle breed in particular. We want to pass on healthy puppies first and foremost. Heathy puppies are nice but we want to take it to the next step, intelligence. We want to offer the right puppy for your family. We give all of our puppies the best start; Early Neurological Stimulation from day 3-day 16. We start noise, touch, and texture stimulation, potty training starts at 3.5 weeks of age, when we start them on raw diet. It is important to expose our puppies to life and all its possibilities. Our vet comes out to our home to health check our puppies where we give them all their shots, microchip them, and deworming every 2 weeks from 2 weeks of age. Basic manners are worked on every day our puppies are with us. At 4 weeks of age we IQ test them, this is more for fun to see where they are at, and are retested at 6weeks, 8weeks, and 10weeks. We seek to improve their scores each time, we find it helps with their problem solving skills. At 7 weeks we have a Service Dog Trainer come to our home to offer the Volhard Test. At this time we post all the scores on line. We are proud to say we have partnered in the past with a few Service/ Search and Rescue/Therapy groups to place our puppies, and will be doing this again with our current litter. At 7-8weeks of age when our Partners have had a chance to pick their puppies we then open up the adoption process to handlers and families. We do go by our list of reserved spots, the first two are always set aside for our Partners, then we go in order of approved application. We give each handler/family information on all of the puppies with the one we feel will be a best match for them based on our Adoption Application/Puppy Questionnaire. In the end the final decision is left up to the new home.
We love what we do and we love our puppies, its a labor of love but mostly just Love. People deserve to have the best at reasonable prices and that's what we are here to offer. Please feel free to ask question, or just set up a time to come visit. This is our dream come true owning Standard Poodles of high quality, and it is our pleasure to offer the same to you.
