We are focused on creating strong riders using the classical techniques. Under Anne’s guidance, Cristine learned classical techniques in dressage and jumping.

It’s a bit hard to see but not hard to smell the mold from this feed. Tractor Supply Co. should never have stores that sell ripped bags nor should you ever buy ripped bags (my fault!) The moisture and smell coming from this bag of feed was horrid.
I usually like to support my local feed stores and will continue, but sometimes their hours don’t work with mine
But that being said…always check the feed bags and do the smell test when you get to the barn!

Over this heat 🔥 but it makes it easy to stay off the horse and organize the tack room.

Thank god for cheek protectors when you put a piece of twisted metal your horse’s mouth.

We had a runaway flag with this wind. I picked up, she freaked for a millisecond and then decided it was her best friend…oh Nugget!

🐐 We will have some new barn mascots in the coming weeks 🐐
Meet Hank and Frank!
If we get any training done with this cuteness around it’ll be a miracle. Mascheck Goat Herd

She’s a silly one, but her movement is one for the books...on another note, can someone mow the pasture?

⚡️💥 WE’RE BAAACCCKKK ⚡️💥
We had a hiatus for a while and while we are still getting used to new schedules and lack of sleep IYKYK, we are excited to offer lessons again, however with a new year, comes some changes:
🐴 We are only offering lessons to a very limited number of students at the moment and these lessons need to be on horses owned by the rider.
🐴 We teach classical methods and do not teach western riders or for speed events.
🐴 Lesson prices have increased and will be on a monthly tuition rate.
🐴 We are working on arena improvements, so we’d love to teach at your place! Only riding in a pasture? No problem at all! We’ve ridden in rougher terrain!
🐴 We follow the heat/humidity scale. Horse welfare comes first. Lessons will be scheduled very early and very late while it is still so hot!
🐴 We are not a boarding facility.
We are excited to be back to it!! Please contact us with any questions. Happy riding!

We have taken a little pause to get our young horses started and on the right path towards a successful career.
We will resume a select number of lessons closer to the summer!

Moved this girl up a level during a beautiful morning lesson and she rocked it! A little dressage before jumping today worked wonders ❤️❤️

I wish I could find the original poster for this, but this is a great visual. I think I’ll hang this up at the barn as a good reminder for us all!

My parents built this little barn shack back in 2007 so that I could have a place to train my dressage mare and my old gelding could have a place to retire outside of Austin, now that I have grown, it needs a facelift!
So thankful to my non-horsy parents, VERY non-horsy brother Kel Gibson and TMI Custom Woodwork for making it all possible and for literally doing the heavy-lifting while I pick out paint colors 🤣😉🥰
And thank you tons to my hubby who is not on FB and my clients and students.
All possible because of you!

Marshmallow fluff??? Our horses deserve better. This is insane and thrilled that it’s banned but it should have never had to be brought up in the first place 😡
On 3 August 2021, British equestrian magazine Horse & Hound posted that a final push for a pro-choice top hat/helmet rule was thrown out by FEI.

😘 Always kiss your horse after a good ride. Proud mama ❤️

Such an inspiring team! I hope Nugget and I are able to fill some BIG shoes as Jody has helped pave the way for Saddlebreds in dressage. I am in awe 🥰

When your jumping arena is wayyyy behind schedule, we use the dressage ring. It’s all about improv here and going with the flow, but y’all…this team is everything no matter what ring we are in! ❤️

🐎 We are excited to now incorporate HorseSense Learning levels so that our students will be able to complete levels and receive prizes and certificates at the end of each level. 🏆
We think this is a great tool to ensure all of our riders learn horsemanship and horse care along with riding! 🙌

Honoring one of our biggest supporters and now guiding angel. Nugget’s registered name is for my Aunt Kathi Eileen who was fiesty, fearless, goofy and so incredibly kind ❤️ 😇 We can’t wait to hear this name over the loudspeaker at shows!

We love a good party 🎊 🎈 🎉 more than anyone around, but y’all for the love of animals, let’s dispose of balloons properly so they don’t get into pastures or rivers! Happy we found this before our animals did!

Literally has a clean, full trough behind him🤷♀️🤦♀️

Poor Max has a bad gash on his leg so per the vet we did a lot of walking and very little trotting, but these two still managed to have a great time even if we couldn’t run wild! 🥰🤣

Our dream is turning into a reality and we could not be more excited, but it does mean it’ll be a construction zone for at minimum until the end of the year.
We appreciate your patience with us as we enter this amazing phase! We promise it will be worth it!!

And…just like that, summer has returned. Please keep in mind the “feels like” temps before heading out! No charges for last minute cancellations these next few weeks!

When your strapping 6’2 barnman heads to work in the northeast and you realize you forgot to have him move the heaviest jump standards for your upcoming lessons, you just sit and stare at them really hoping they’ll move by themselves
