Here at Rising Mountain Horsemanship & Equine Center, we will work out hardest to provide the best horses and horsemanship training in the Treasure Valley area, using(but not exclusively) the time tested art of trust-b

ased horse training methods pioneered by Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt where we focus on the training or re-training of the horse. This includes c**t starting; building a solid, working cow horse foundation with a focus on ranch horses and all-around performance horses. We also help our customers with problem horses, where we not only focus on re-training the horse, but on helping instruct the owner for confidence and success; and private lessons to give personalized instruction in horsemanship. Why settle for only a great horse, when we can instruct you on being a great rider! We have 2 certified horse trainers/ riding instructors and a boarding facility for the comfort and convenience of our 2 and 4 legged clients.

Come try Horsemanship Lessons with us!
We do more than teach you how to ride at Rising Mountain Horsemanship. We strive to teach Horsemanship. I believe you can’t touch a horse without teaching them something, so we show you how to teach the good stuff.
Bring your own horse or come ride one of our well broke horses and learn what it truly means to build a relationship and communicate with horses.
65$ an hour or 90$ for an hour and a half. Ages 3 and up! Available Mondays and Tuesdays.
